Talk about a persecution complex! They'll 'never stop for the rest of their lives'. Honestly though, what is the show without his nemeses? Would he have anything? It's like Ralph and Mundane Matt. They have nothing without these people to fight - even if they haven't done or said anything in ages. Their entire personas and income is tied to these people badgering them. They could ignore them, but they can't. Without fighting these people, they have nothing.
