Twitter Hides POTUS Tweet

There's this thing called "real life" and these other things called "close, trusted friends"
"Close, trusted friends" Well you usually have that on less than the fingers of one of your hand, internet can at least witness your stupidity by the hundreds or thousand at a time, not the same scale of fun but i get ya.

OK look man, no one expects you to sacrifice yourself so we can sperg out online. That said, let's sort of hang back and observe. Predictions and reality often don't line up as people think they will. Trump makes a lot of noise. A lot of the stuff he says doesn't pan out.

And the great freedom of speech / expression war of 2020 has begun bois. We are all fucked when the FCC starts asking that kind of questions :

Special mention for those who didn't understood why it's a slippery slope.

When even Ajit Pai is all in with a huge smile... You know you fucked up.

Hey everyone! It's a slippery slope when a government official asks a corporation for a statement about it's TOS!

Just so everyone is clear, site TOS is a contract, in normal contract law if something is ambiguous it's read in favor of the party who didn't write it, but thanks to section 230 corporations are exempt from that.

Maybe it's not the best comparison but it kinda reminds me of 4th season House of Cards, but president is far more short-sighted and dumber than Underwood. This is the point of history when fiction goes full circle and kicks the butt of reality with something so mind-numbing and astonishingly broken that people start to wonder does our simulation is some kind of a really bad sitcom for aliens.

But hey - it's your president folks! Whole wide world is making fun of his tweets... well except North Korea because it seems these two are in really close relationship that even Ivanka can't get into that triangle.

The only positive of Trumpy doing this, is attaching the whole anti-internet freedom stuff to his base supporters, eg, the knuckle dragging morons who just vote because he's red. Small block I'd hope in comparison to a rational person, if the dems or even some rhinos wanted to use this, it'd be far more effective than the whole muh gender nonsense they've been spewing.

If they repeal Section 230 of the CDA I will close this site the same day and none of you will hear from me again.

I could be wrong; and am but a small brain, but my understanding is the aim isn't to repeal 230 but to get better wording in regards to what makes a publisher versus a forum as a way to keep Twitter and similar sites from being able to put the kabash on what they consider wrong think.
