Yup, 8 PM curfew over the weekend:
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — Following three straight nights of widespread and growing protests and looting, and hundreds of businesses damaged or destroyed by fire, Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey announced Friday afternoon that he is imposing a mandatory nighttime curfew for Minneapolis this weekend.

Soon thereafter, Mayor Melvin Carter III announced that he had signed an order of local emergency that would also impose a curfew starting Friday.

The curfew is for all public places, including streets, stretching from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. It’s in effect beginning Friday night, and will happen again at 8 p.m. on Saturday night.

“All law enforcement, fire, and medical personnel, as well as other personnel authorized by the City of Minneapolis, City of St. Paul, the Minnesota Department of Public Safety, Minnesota State Patrol, or Minnesota National Guard, are exempt from the curfew,” Frey said.

Carter said that St. Paul’s curfew also makes exemptions for members of the media.

Violating this order will result in a misdemeanor, subject to a $1,000 fine or imprisonment for up to 90 days.

Should be interesting, my guess is that there will be big crowds, but they'll get dispersed pretty quickly like the Ferguson protests once the police got their shit together.

They want their own people to do the policing. So essentially the UK, where they'll go after people having butter knives and saying mean things about PoCs and fat people. White people would be on their own, unless they have right-think or are LGBTQIA+ whatever.

Breaking curfew is a misdemeanor, 90 days and/or a $1,000 fine. It's an easy way to round people up without actually seeing them molotov a building.

it will only quiet things down if cops bother enforcing it, which means patrolling the streets and arresting curfew breakers on the spot
but as we saw yesterday the cops are in no position to enforce ANYTHING at the moment, they can't even provide enough security for the firefighters to roll out and do their jobs safely

so unless they march in a few thousands soldiers of the military, the curfew will only exist on paper, but on the streets it will not be a thing at all
