Trump Derangement Syndrome - Orange man bad. Read the OP! (ᴛʜɪs ᴛʜʀᴇᴀᴅ ɪs ʟɪᴋᴇ ᴋɪᴡɪ ғᴀʀᴍs ʀᴇᴠɪᴇᴡs ɴᴏᴡ) 🗿🗿🗿🗿

They already fucking arrested Chauvin but that's not enough. They could find him guilty and they'll keep on burning and looting. And let's not forget Van Jones advocating for race war on CNN
I would imagine they’d cream their pants if Chauvin gets murdered because to them, it’s better than seeing him get away.

Twitter said fuck it.

I reckon I need to reread it then.

Though why does he need to use an EO to do something that's already described and detailed? And while I can buy hyperbole for this response, why also the desire to kill 230?

Just wondering.
He is explicitly declaring that the executive branch needs to enforce that specific provision in that specific way. He's sending out a message very publicly that this is going to happen.

As for the tweet, that's bait.

Some people are calling this a threat, some are calling it chicken, intimidation, whatever. But really it's a negotiation. It's what Trump has been doing his entire career, and he has done it a million times in the past 5 years. Think back to the campaign and all the blustery propositions Trump made. A impenetrable concrete wall that just got ten feet higher, Mexico is going to pay for everything, we're going to stop all immigration and travel from specific places, we're going to cut and reform taxes to an insane degree. Did any of this happen exactly as he said it? No, but he got them all done in one way or another. The result is always somewhere in the middle, and in a better place than it would have been if he hadn't been so brash with his opening bid. This is how negotiation works, your opening bid isn't what you actually want, it's beyond what you want and you haggle down to something closer to the ideal. The wilder your opening bid is, the more you shift the conversation and expand the spectrum of possibilities.

The only possibility before all of this was that Twitter gets to keep doing whatever they want to people under the full protection of the law. Now the realm of possibility extends all the way to a repeal of 230. You can see in the main thread about this, people are now offering more moderate solutions and more helpful ideas left and right. Trump has coaxed them into it and they don't even realize it. Anything that actually happens will likely be closer to those ideas than what we're currently dealing with in reality or what Trump is saying theoretically.

This is why Trump keeps winning. He has his enemies convinced he's a bumbling idiot but in the end he controls everything they think about and how they think about it. They've had 5 years of exposure to him to recognize the patterns and learn his tactics and they've failed to do so. He literally commissioned a book that details negotiation and dealmaking, they could pirate a pdf or ebook of it today and learn what he's doing and they don't. Sun Tzu, know your enemy. They've been shadow boxing for 5 years because they refuse to accept what Trump really is and they refuse to study anything he does. They just convince themselves Trump is dumb and then can't understand why they keep losing. Anyway I'm getting off on a rant here and probably shouldn't say this much because a few of the smarter ones might read this and start to catch on.

This tweet that has everyone up in arms specifically says "when the looting starts, the shooting starts."

It's probably an unintended double entendre, but go with me anyway. Not that I need to explain this to anyone with a functional brain.

If you're going to be a thug, an asshole, a criminal, a lawbreaker, whatever you want to call it and go out and start looting, you can expect to be shot at by the police. Probably with rubber bullets at first, but depending on what exactly you're doing, maybe the real thing.

Additionally, when activities like looting and general lawlessness break out a situation becomes chaotic. As we saw last night on live feeds around the internet, there was a bunch of shooting occurring. Mostly not from the police. Anyone could have gotten hit. Anyone could have gotten killed. Thank goodness nobody got outright shot.

When looting and chaos begin, law enforcement must act with a firm hand to stop the situation and to protect everyone. There are only a few ways to accomplish this and they involve force. This is such a lame freak out.

*I meant to say that the double entendre was UNintended, not intended. Not giving President Trump that much credit.

I figured the latter was bait.

Yeah, I'm looking at the EO again (only skimmed the last time). It's pretty clear that he's mandating for 230 to be enforced in light of Twitter editing his content and not the other heads of state since it was done (with admission) for political reasons.

While I don't think he'd mind having control over what makes a public forum a public forum, it does in fact look closer to him trying to negotiate like he did with Mexico (stick first, carrot if you comply). Now given that Jack and his moron brigade is doubling down? That's them daring him to do it, and that's fucking retarded given Trump's history.

Man is a spiteful fuck when he wants to be.

So regarding the issue with Section 230, well to be honest I see it as Donald Trump's way of spooking these tech companies because they know very well that they cannot even survive without Section 230 protections. Section 230 protects these websites that are based in the U.S. from any liability (in which if some dumb troll that decided to post dumb things such as death threats and even doing illegal activities) so websites can't get sued for the dumb stuff that any of their dumb users do everyday.

Now obviously Donald Trump can't repeal any law he wants with an Executive Order because the Constitution forbids this and he needs both the House and the Senate to do anything. So if this continues to escalate any further then these tech companies will then have to negotiate with the government so that they don't go out of business because they need Section 230 to even stay in business.

So with that said, if Donald Trump is doing this as a power grab then yes I'll protest, sign any petitions, and write letters to my senators and congressman to not support Donald Trump's attempt to regulate the Internet. But for now I'm going to wait and see what happens next then.

Full transcripts of the Flynn call have been released.

Remember the "Russian hack"? Russia thinks it was an inside job.

No wonder the FBI fought tooth and nail to stop these transcripts from being released.
Jesus.

Just wondering.

'Revoke 230 for twitter, Facebook, etc' is less catchy.

Same thing when he threatened to nuke North Korea. The current hysteria is fueled by Null freaking out, just like how we were all going to die after killing the Iranian general. Since he said it, it must be true, and the echo chamber begins.

Jack either has watermelon size balls or he's extremely retarded.

These are not mutually exclusive positions.

Jack might be young and dumb enough to not realize what federal auditors can do to his shit.

Zuckenberg might had read the tea leaves, to criticize Twitter. He know then if Trump goes after Twitter, Facebook is next. http://archive.vn/aDdpT

One Youtuber who posted on Styx vlog is right on target.

I think Zucker had a come-to-jesus moment when he got hauled before congress. Facebook has been taking a lot of woke heat for leaving up objectionable opinions that are not on the right side of history. They have been getting ready to tell a federal auditor "Our terms of service are enforced universally" for a while.

I don't know how Donald has the patience for this, if I were him, I would've had them tracked down and raided by now. Considering the other shit that's on there, they would've been declared a publisher a long time ago.

He was just waiting to be given brazen, ironclad, utterly unequivocal cause.

And in their TDS, they are handing him even more.
