The most qualified person to talk about politics: Markiplier.
OH GOD!
he tries to stay relatively neutral on the matter but he doesn't bring up the damage of the riots. he says it's not a grey area
OH GOD!
"today I'm going to be talking about a very serious subject that you probably already know about. a few days ago a man by the name of George Floyd was murdered by a police officer while he was placed under arrest. the circumstances of his arrest are irrelevant. a man is dead, and this sort of situation disproportional affects a certain percentage of the population. George Floyd was an African American man and there's a long storied history of African American men and women being murdered or abused while being placed under arrest. this is resulted in numerous demonstrations, protests, and riots that have occurred across the country and centralized in Minneapolis. and i think: i hate the term i think, the last thing i want to do is try to inject my opinion into a situation that neither deserves it or needs it, but i think that this is a very human reaction to system injustice and racism that has been pervading our country for the past 50, 100, 200 years. this is a problem that is deeply rooted in our government and in our communities and in these systems that are supposed to help our fellow man. and it is a problem that needs to be rooted out at every turn, and it's always been a big point of mine to try to use my platform responsibly to use my platform to steer people in the direction i feel is right. in this case there is very little gray area to debate about. A man is dead as a result of police brutality and there was no justice in his death and this happens over and over and over again, and it's very easy to remove yourself from the situation to think that it is so far removed from your life that it will never affect you. but this affects all of us, this is something that is definitive of who we are as a people, who we will be for the future generations. I've always said that i want to leave the world a better place than I found it. When I'm gone i want the future generations to be able to enjoy peace and prosperity. I want that, but right now we need to fight these injustices at every turn, because prejudice and injustice and racism runs very deep and it's roots are very thick and if you don't cut it out, and if you don't stop it at every turn it will always come back. and i think that the discontent is a result of that anger, of the deep seated anger, of continually and repeatedly being ignored. martin Luther king once said that riots are the language of the unheard, which means that when people are ignored for so long, they only have so many options to express their rage. and if there are problems that continually crop up and lead to situations where justice is not served, then we need to change the system that allow that injustice to happen in the first place. and that is a long process that needs continual pressure and constant support and constant vigilance. I hope that we can live in a world where racism and prejudice are in the past, but the realist in me knows that we need to fight it at every turn, and we need to confront it and we need to challenge it and we need to defeat it whenever it rises up. in the description I'm going to leave a link to a charity an organization called campaign zero. they are dedicated to ending police violence in America, or at the very least ensure that justice is always served when it is due. i will be making a contribution to this charity and i encourage you to do the same or contribute to the many other causes that people linking on social media, on twitter, on various other sites or other you tube videos. there are many ways that you can help even at the most basic of just letting people know that this is not okay, that we do not stand for this. making your voice heard, you can make a contribution to a charity or you can spread the message about it and demand a change be made from it. we are all in this together, whether we like it or not, we're all part of the same country we're all part of the same world, and we need to start looking after each other. black lives matter and right now we need to fight this injustice."
That is fucking heartbreaking with the number of minority-owned establishments in the city (just to remind people that these people are all about the POC).
They are literally burning down their own neighborhoods and destroying small home grown businesses (as well as large Corporate chains that will likely be the only thing people would be able to afford to shop from after they torch all their home grown business) idk feels bad that it has come to this because it will only make everything worse. If they think this will stop racial injustice and not just exacerbate the problems, they are out of their minds....the long term ramifications for this are going to be tragically interesting to watchPoor Dude. These speds need be tard wrangled. If only the mayor and governor would actually do something besides saying empty platitudes.
the way the french dude is saying halloween is killing me. Hchalloveen. Also he's talking with some random dude about tinder and is currently trying to pick up chicks. Bless this crazy froggy bastard.
The looters though are just the black equivalent of white trash. You see a lot of the same behavior in skanky trailer parks, too. It's just they live out in the middle of nowhere and nobody gives a fuck. And also, it's white cops and white suspects. Can't make that political.
The real problem is that the media tries pits groups of people against one another for ratings. None of this would be going on if the media didn't manipulate and egg people on and social media users were capable of critical thinking. This is just like getting hobos to fight for your entertainment. Nobody likes cops or looters, but they sure like watching the fireworks when you get them riled up.
OH GOD!
It's just lining the pockets of whoever runs MFF.people weren't even this fast and loose moneywise with Occupy back in the days, and as stupid and grifty as occupy fags were they were demonstrably spending some of that money to buy food, supplies, etc for camping protesters and to pay bail/fines (still stupid, but not a total waste from a purely utilitarian pov) The main and "official" plan for occupy was to be peacefully mass arrested as civil disobedience, so all that considered makes some kind of sense at least
even if MFF uses some of the money for bail/fines for protesters who is going to do all the work of distributing that money to people? these are free-form riots all over the place, not a semi-organized assembly sitting in one area waiting for the cops
there's no goddamn way that the money donated to MFF is going to be used for anything of consequence
to be fair here, some northern states in the US and in leafland they get very upset over sports, usually foosball and hockeyballYou don't see white people burning down their neighborhoods and looting the stores in their own communities every time some white trailer trash piece of shit gets wasted by the cops. White people realize that some of us are garbage and completely their own fault when they get killed.
>tfw your Korean genes are trying to kick in but you still refuse to be a roof Korean
OH GOD!
Yeah I gotta agree that any attempted rioting in Atlanta will probably be dealt with pretty quickly. A good chunk of Atlanta cops are black themselves and I doubt APD would tolerate rioting for very long. Also pretty much all citizens own a gun, except maybe soyest of sheltered white liberals. It's also a Stand Your Ground state so people can legally protect their homes and businesses with lethal force if need be.
Also I'm sure if all else fails people could bring in some roof Koreans from Buford highway.
Bruh, of course celebrity hypes on this situation
OH GOD!
"He was murdered." *moments later* "I'd hate to inject my opinion"
OH GOD!
it's all a careful calculation by their governanceSo all these democrat cities can overnight pass legislation that prevents illegal criminals from being deported, but they can't prevent from stuff like this from happening despite generations of control?
