The author upset many childhood fans of Harry Potter in December by tweeting her support for a woman who was fired for anti-transgender views, and in March before that by appearing to like a tweet that referred to trans women as “men in dresses”.

At the time Rowling’s reps officially sought to blame an accidental “middle-aged moment”, stating that she hadn’t meant to like the tweets.

But this week the multimillionaire has been caught liking a message from an activist linked to the anti-transgender LGB Alliance.

JK Rowling liked Twitter message smearing trans woman.

The message repeatedly misgendered and spread false claims about Alex Drummond, a psychotherapist and photographer who has become a point of fixation for transphobic activists online because she has a beard.


The tweet read: “This is Alex Drummond, an adult human male who claims to be a lesbian (yes, he’s kept his dangling bits and skipped the hormones) and believes that real lesbians who aren’t into penises are transphobic and should be excluded from the lesbian community. Yeah, this guy.”

Drummond, who previously said she is in a long-term committed relationship, has made no such claims.

Fans also noted that Rowling’s account liked another message insisting that “humans come in two, and only two, immutable sexes”.

Approached by PinkNews on Monday (May 1, a spokesperson for Rowling declined to comment.

I don't know if it's about not caring anymore. I wonder if the political winds are slowly changing and there is a blowback building against the transgender trend. Every few years, we have a new victimhood trend anyway. Someone rises to the top of the oppression narrative. One group this spot has been reserved for in particular have been women. Our society, humanity is gynocentric. I am surprised how long and how much transgender women have been on the at all. And I am saying transgender women because you rarely see transgender men. Why is that? It's about gynocentrism. You can make a victimhood narrative against anything female resembling, but not around anything male resembling. And as long as transwomen were just a nice prop to center activism around, that was all fine for the posh circles of society who used them to virtue signal. Now, however, we are getting into territory where transgender interests are starting to conflict with interests of actual women, despite transgender people being a small group to begin with (despite their political visibility). Women can't have that. As soon as transgender women are starting win a few too many competitions or are an inconvenience to actual women, they will likely be thrown under the bus.

Plus, there is the actual, real harm this is doing to children. There is irreparable damage to reproductive abilities and psychological consequences to making children the lab rats of the transgender movement and progressive, virtue signaling, clueless middle class white women who want to inflate their progressive creds.

In the end, women will get what women want. If women decide that they no longer want to support transgenderism, this will all end. Women are also very collectivist, so once a critical mass of women, or those few who set the agenda, the queen bees, decide transgenderism is no longer a thing, we will abandon it in a hurry. J.K. Rowling might very well be such a trend setter. TERFs and those lesbian or women's groups who put on anti-trans protests at Pride migth very well be the first signs of the breakdown of the transgender movement. On top of that, transgender women have been far too aggressive and nasty to be a good victimhood group, especially if they are supposed to be held out as women.

Still, I don't know how confident I am with those predictions, yet, and I'd like to hear other people's opinions.

Actually, there is another point I am still confused about, which is the true origin of transgenderism. I am not sure if most people really understand it. I don't really understand it and I've recently read an interesting take from someone who claims to have been working on big picture planning behind the scene.

As so often, the humanitarian explanation, the explanation of us doing this out of compassion and equality, might very well be bullshit. Maybe some people honestly think so, maybe some people honestly want to help oppressed groups, but we are far too brainwashed to put on any large, sustained movements at all. Most of this is usually organized by political interests, not grown organically by little, fearless activists fighting against the behemoth of the oppressive society that keeps people down.

Once the talking heads on the TV tell us to care about something else, we will quickly forget about this transgender bullshit. Our collective attention span is that of a gold fish. Russian collusion was the most important thing in the world as long as the media reported about it. Now it's out of the news cycle and how many of the little folks who thought it was the biggest thing since Watergate now still talk about it? People talk about whatever happens to be trending on Twitter on any given day. It's more about being part of your ingroup than effecting any lasting social change.

As long as we don't truly understand where transgenderism came from, how it came about, I think we will also not be able to make very accurate predictions where it will go in the future.

Hey, when the author of the book series that inspired the literary masterpiece that is "My Immortal", people are going to listen to what she has to say.

I did actually re-read the HP books recently, I wanted to get back into reading and figured I'd start with something easy, and let me tell you, reading them again after over a decade was an enlightening experience. I definitely noticed more flaws in the story then I remember (how Snape wasn't fired, or at least told to chill the fuck out by Dumbldore, is a mystery to me) but they're still fun, easy reads if you enjoy fantasy. They're not super nuanced or anything, but if you're in the mood for a classic "coming of age/ good vs. evil" fantasy story, it's a solid read. I think that's why so many people latched onto it.

But anyways, you're talking to the women who managed to get half a generation and their mothers obsessed with the story of a boy and his battles with Lord evil magic mc no-nose, and if there's anything the 2010's taught me, is that some people do not want to let go of their childhoods.
