In most states, including Virginia, a sentence for a misdemeanor cannot exceed a year, so it would indeed have to be a felony, unless Virginia allows stacking consecutive sentences for multiple misdemeanors that in total exceed a year. Most states I am familiar with prohibit that.

Anytime people refer to Chris as "she" or "they" or any other retarded pronoun HE isn't, it adds five more years to Barb's life.

I think she does. Chris informed her of her Snorlax title by the trolls and according to him, she thought it was funny. I think she's aware of the thread cause of all Chris's whining, and as you said, she probably doesn't care, much like her concern of Chris. Barb is cold blooded.

It’s pretty easy to avoid it if you don’t actively use the internet. Chris isn’t really mainstream as far as meme culture is concerned (who knows though. Somehow zoomers are becoming fascinated with him despite the golden age of his notoriety being long gone) so it’s not like she gets harassed on the streets, if she even goes out at all these days since she makes Chris do all the essential shopping.

I do kinda find it a little heartwarming on Bob’s end though; he was just a mild-mannered engineer and somehow we’re still talking about him almost a decade after his death. It’s ironic how a supposed “cabal of internet bullies” honor his memory more meaningfully than his own son.

I won't be dancing on Barb's grave, but I'm also not going to feel anything like sadness over her. She was a profoundly shitty person for a long time, as shown by the fact that she's alienated her firstborn son and her entire extended family, not to mention turning her second son into a feckless manbaby, but she's also Chris's last anchor to anything like a stable existence. Losing her is going to hit him like a fucking truck no matter how hard he tries to pretend that she's alive in his magical cartoon world, and I'm not looking forward to seeing how that ends.
