Not even then. It's only if you're actually incarcerated for a year or longer. It's not a punishment for committing a crime. It's just the recognition that you're already getting your living expenses covered while in prison. You have to reapply on release.
Pretty much, but the only way I could see Chris being incarcerated for a year or longer is if he did get convicted of a felony, which is highly unlikely
