An old friend of mine, who went through (minority white) public schools on Oahu a couple decades ago, once described to me how his old school celebrated "Kill Haole Day," which (according to the Dep of Ed, among others) is evidently part of a larger pattern of school-based harassment against the "Haole" (i.e. whitey). I do not know how that situation has or has not changed since 2009, but it seems that there is definitely an undercurrent of racial resentment there.

Its hard to say, I'm not white as well but I never really recalled that much violence against white people here as much as I see kangz in the mainland targeting white people.

I've definitely seen some white kids getting bullied by non-whites growing up in school, but its almost always boys or men, probably also a macho thing than race thing. I see white girls and women who tend to be geeky and feminine in my area like fujoshis and they pretty much went unscathed and often hanged out with non-whites almost by default. If anything the 'popular girls' in my schools back then tended to be white girls.

There is a lot of anti-white American (Europeans are generally seen as neutral or they just don't know or care) sentiment here, but I feel as though it isn't as turbulent as in the mainland. Like I said, they talk shit but don't do much. There aren't any BLM equivalents and I don't see any masked non-white gangs trying to start shit 'to avenge Lilioukalani' or whatever.

There's a lot of "The Rich White Americans have overthrown our glorious Hawaiian Kingdom! We wuz kings n shiet!" yet modern Hawaiian culture has ironically been shaped so much by American culture and how much of 'pure' Hawaiian culture remains is basically nonexistent, it kinda hard to say. Non-whites here just don't like to admit how much they rely on America and White Americans themselves. They'll claim they hate but at the end of the day they all come crawling back. Plus there aren't that much pure blooded Hawaiians anymore as well. What remains are almost all mutts and hapas (all sorts of Asians and Portugese came here during the Plantation Era from the 1800s) trying to virtue signal that so they come off as more interesting and more oppressed.
