Say what you want about Trump, he stays for Press questions most of the time even when they act like broken records. This cuck had one round of questioning and than ran like a wee baby after giving a Hallmark Special speech.

The only real improvement is that Mayor Cuck recognises that larger long-term issues of letting rioters burn down essential stores and local business + actually noticing that the people on the streets are not actually genuine protesters.

Yep. That was a disastrous showing by the governor and mayor. They didnt say one word on what they are actually doing to get things under control. At best according to the Mayor the Fire Department is running around putting out one fire while two get started, while the Governor just flat out said they didnt plan properly, dont have enough assets in place and shits getting worse.


Either these two are the most bumbling morons to ever curse a State with their governance or they are doing everything they can to force Trumps hand so they can shift all the blame and responsibility to him.

And the media is going to carry water for them.

This whole fiasco to own Trump will lead to future consequences that will be used against these leftists and neoliberals. These imbeciles on CNN are in heavy coping mode that their pets don't care about their well being. Hell surprised to see lots of black faces on FOX News. The US has been operating under basically the same code of laws and government system longer than practically any nation on earth at the moment.

If the civil war, and the unrest of the 60's and 70's (even the 80's or 90's really) didn't break it than this sure as shit won't.

EDIT: I forgot to mention that Neal Stephenson simply imagining a future world where racism is still a thing sets him apart from pretty much every other sci fi author and that alone makes it far more prescient than anything else.

The second book is called the "The Diamond Age" and it's one of the most compelling pieces of science fiction ever written. Your correct in that it's basically the anti Star Trek, a post scarcity society defined by the human instinct for a purpose and to be part of something larger than themselves, resulting in tribal groups forming even in a setting where most human interaction is via cyberspace.

We had mini-riots all the time from the election up until late last year, although I have never seen fires in the Justice Center before. Not too long ago, the local Antifags were trying to "occupy ICE" by continuously demonstrating around a DHS center. However, the Marshalls were deployed and the "demonstrators" were kept at a distance.
The difference between the federal response and the local authorities' typical response is pretty stark.
