Markiplier has always been like this in the background. He usually tries to step back and give more of a reserved opinion, or tries to go over the facts of a situation.

However, this video feels completely different to the others where he addressed things like covid 19 or youtube banning accounts for using a few emojis. His tone is more scripted and a lot less of him talking from the heart. I really do hope that this is a one time thing and that he was just trying to mean well though, and it's only just one video.

Redneck militia types who do that kind of dumb shit rarely start anything. The Virginia protest was completely calm, for instance. Compared to torching multiple city blocks across the country, that's nothing.

It's a tough call, but I think we will have to genocide the lolcows. Six million of them is a sacrifice I'm willing to make for chicken tendies. We would need a lot of ovens, but if the Germans managed with so few, we should be able to make do.

Yo american protests are something else. I mean, looting and rioting and fire aside that's just awful, but taking away that, I've been to my fair share of protests, and I've seen a lot. Stoned philosophers? A few of those. Drunk white bitches who probably don't even know why we're protesting? Every god damned time. Musicians who came to sing and party for some fucking reason? Yep. Silent assholes that are just searching for the first chance to escalate shit? Yeah that ain't a police plant that's just a virgin with rage. Faggots trying to make it about themselves? -Thomas the tank fucking engine. (I know it's from another one, but still.)
-Some motherfucker walking around with a pair of mannequin legs while high as a freaking kite.

-a black guy with a cowboy hat and southern flag staring down a white hipster with a "black lives matter" sign like some old west duel is about to happen.
-the police having to actually protect the library from a bloody zerg rush.
-somebody just doing exercize on the fucking elliptical while his friend takes photos of him in the middle of the chaos.

I live in Chicago and let me say I didn’t even know anything was going on here. I don’t watch TV and I didn’t look at this thread after like early afternoon yesterday. I’m on the north side (west Rogers Park) and by all measures it was a normal beautiful late spring/early summer day here. Kids were out biking (no masks), people out walking dogs, jogging, grilling out. No hostility or craziness. It’s one of the most diverse zip codes in the whole city too.
I see that some stuff did go down in the Loop last night but they didn’t let it go too far, which is about what I’d expect. We have a lot more to preserve than smaller places like Minneapolis or Louisville and our local government isn’t going to let the place get seriously trashed. Same story in NYC.
The fact that all the college kids are back home due to schools being closed probably helps matters too.

It's not a protest, it's rioting. Americans achieved many peaceful protests in the past. This is just ignorant people being goaded into destroying their own homes by people who aren't affected. This is how you truly keep a people down.
