Was a whole lot fucking worse back in 2015-2016 when the media was treating any black guy dying as a horrible tragedy, like that Michael Brown case where the guy tried assaulting a police officer a couple times. Also had some grifters like Deray (forget last name) that would do stupid shit like walking on the highway as police explained to them they needed to get off or be arrested, resulting in the media saying this was the police being racist and further promoting the protests/riots. But during that whole time period you had the added benefit of Obama's DoJ that looked eager to treat all these cases as completely genuine tragedies so it looked horrible politically for the Dem officials to come out against any of the riots.

In this recent case, the thing looked like a genuine tragedy to everyone including Rush Limbaugh so no one wants to be the one that says protesting/rioting over it is wrong.

This go-round was Bernie's swan song, I think. I don't doubt he'll try to keep his seat until they finally lift his skeleton out of it, but I expect him to fade into the background where it will be much easier for him to get away with all his scams and fraud.

What I'm saying is, he's too old to try for a presidential election again, so he's no longer concerned about keeping himself in the national spotlight. I'd expect far less of him trying to inject himself into current events, since to my estimation he's one of the ones mostly in it for the wealth and power, not the attention.

In nature, the larger and more powerful the animal, the less interspecies conflict exists. fights over mates, food, or territory are too individually costly, so they evolve some means of avoiding that conflict.
