I went to the hospital... I'm scared 05/30/20 - Your gorl actually needed the ER this time

My red flags for the video:
  • frequent pauses, looking up toward construct area
  • forcing her high-pitched cry voice
  • subtle brag about the surgeon canceling others patients' surgeries "because mine was emergency"
  • the doctor was supposedly out in the hallway yet she heard what he said about her dying I know this is possible but I don't personally believe it
  • she's still bleeding and she's super scared (exact teary voice as in the "mental things is scary" video) - second later she's back to her normal tone
  • as others have mentioned, it would be extremely if not completely unlikely that the hospital would send her home with significant sustained bleeding; that verges on patient endangerment
  • jump cut and close shot of the red band on her wrist ffs

Her voice sounds fucked, as if she were on a ventilator. And she said she stopped breathing several times during the surgery. Must have been general anesthesia. @sperginity I'd love to hear your thoughts on this whoooole thing tbh
Under general anesthesia, a tube is inserted down your throat to keep your airway open throughout the entire surgery. So having a tube down your throat for an hour and a half will irritate it, which is probably what's causing the hoarse voice.

Running through quickly, fam, because unlike Big Al, some of us do have actual work to do. Apologie sin advance for ninjas I didn't see (but who sees ninjas, really?).

Amber could have died had she not gone to the ER.

Unlikely. She could have just "stood in the shower for an hour" now that she lost those 70ellbees and can stand for hours and walk forever. If she was bleeding *that* badly to where it was life or death, they would have admitted her.

No... she needs this.
The only thing that was going to smack some reality into her is a scare or a rock bottom. Nothing in her life needed to change. Now she knows for sure she has sleep apnea and this whole thing is forcing her to face the truth of her health.

If this doesn't change her though, nothing will.

It will not. I'd lay money on it. If anything, with a big, fat ER bill and (if you believe her) general anesthesia for a D&C, she's going to have to make a bunch of coin to bank.

As for her having cancer... maybe this will be her wake up call. It takes her being sick to lose weight....welllll chemo will do that to you! And if she lives we get to watch her gain it allllll back!

Again, no. Nothing will change, and she very likely will not be diagnosed with cancer. If she had cancer, she'd at least have a few symptoms showing up. Sending tissues to path is normal for stuff like this. As usual, she's just trying to play Becky (and her viewers) by mentioning the Big C, because there's not much that can really freak people out like cancer.

Ok, some speculation here, Amber has always been sensitive about not having diabetes. She made a big deal about not showing her hospital band because of "personal information". I saw a glimpse of the band, sorry I did not timestamp, band was red. In my experience, red hospital bands usually mean diabetic. It would kill her to admit that she has the beetus, since she is "healthy, just big".

In the US, the standard is that red = allergy. I'm surprised they didn't slap a yellow (fall risk) on her.

why on earth would the doctor have to stitch the hymen back together- how would you even go about stitching it if it's a membrane??

Didn't happen.

She is seeing the benefit of being sick for sympathy.

Munchies always do.

I expect a big reason she went to the ER was inability to handle the mess - both keeping herself clean and the bathroom/bed.

Women who aren‘t 500 lbs can deal with this - get in the shower as needed, wear tampons, use big pads, monitor the amount of blood, etc... and call their doctor to get checked out the next day if needed. (Plenty of women deal with far worse at home after childbirth, miscarriages, OBGYN procedures or because of fibroids)

Amber can not easily clean herself, can’t get in and out of a shower as needed, probably can’t use tampons/cups, can’t quickly get up to deal with leaks, change pads, etc. Any accidents she has can’t easily bend down to clean up. She’s probably just started camping on the toilet till her legs went numb. All that water in the toilet makes it seem like you are losing a ton of blood, when you’re not. Doctors ask women to use pads to truly monitor the amount of blood flow.

Keep in mind that one teaspoon! of blood soaks a normal pad or tampon. (Because there is other fluid and tissue, the blood just makes it all red so it seems like there’s far more blood.) So even if you go through 4 pads in an hour you have lost 4-6 teaspoons of blood - big whoop.

I think the trip to the ER was mostly due to Amber getting scared because she’s lost the ability to clean up after herself properly. If she was having a super heavy flow from her cervix not being able to lower properly for months she would not be able to lay on pillow mountain for hours. She would have to get up every 15-20 minutes to check/monitor herself, change her pad, clean up, etc... she can’t do that so probably accidents happen and she can’t bend to clean it up either. Yuck.

Add to this she has two gay men as roommates. No one is more terrified of vaginas and their menstrual voodoo than gay men. I can’t imagine they were happy with a stanky 500 lb woman bleeding all over the place. Becky would have been the nurse/janitor. I’m sure everyone wanted Amber to go to the hospital and let them deal with her mess.
