Holy shit what a ridiculous video.

I really like (/sneed) that they gave all starters gender differences based on humans instead of oh, say, what most of the pokemon with gender differences have that are subtle and based off of prexisting animals (usually). Long hair (or hair where there was none), soft round corners, eyelashes, flowers (which can be male or female in irl biology), dress like structures... there's a few good designs here, but most of them ain't it, chief.

Why would a lizard have hair and boobs? Unless, you know, you are a scalie. Which this feels like.

Love how not only does the male have to look angrier, but also has to have A FLAMING MAGICKAL SWORD JUST LIKE MY ANIMES, missing the point of the original by a mile (its a wizard, doofus).

This comb over is just so bad I had to isolate it.

Lastly, love how all of the females of the -chu line all get flowers in their hair, as if literally a part of them. Beautiful. A+ design. Don't feel condescended to at all/s.

What the fuck did they do to my favourite mon? They do realise that it as well as Duskull are meant to be based off of Japanese paper lantern ghosts, right? Why did they make my boy into an edgy grim reaper? This design is unfitting for Dusclops - it's bad and the artist should feel bad.

Another thing is this redesign of Dusclops means Dusknoir would have to be redesigned as well, because it wouldn't make sense for something bird-like to lose it upon evolution. And the shit about him saying that Dusclops doesn't have the "spectral flame" that Duskull has is bullshit. It's LITERALLY mentioned in it's Emerald entry:

Multiple entries talk about it being a literal void inside, so that's why the flame's never seen visually. If you could see it visually, it wouldn't make sense.
What made original Dusclops better than this redesign is that this is literally just a bigger, more bird-like Duskull. It just gets bigger. Dusclops, on the other hand, looks better, because not only does it look like an upgrade, but keeps many basic features from Duskull without looking like a bigger version of Duskull with barely noticable differences.
Basically, imagine Dusclops, upon evolving, tearing it's old body apart and out crawls out a Dusknoir. Like a cocoon of some sorts.

Arceus, this guy doesn't even understand why Registeel, or the other two regis, look the way they do. This isn't how they're "supposed" to look, They're all monotype, and this looks Steel/Grass.

And looking through his Twitter, he retweets a bunch of really hot-takes, so he could be worth looking into, though it seems he's just a random artist who makes generic, half-baked designs... But don't you dare design a feminine/masculine pokemon, or you're sexist for it.
