Btw in other news since this update made about 12/16hrs ago about fixing some shadow issues with his NPC. Haters that doesnt have this game are afraid to see his NPC to hit on console versions and are now asking to have an option to toggle his NPC off!

Since you cant mod files in consoles unlike PC version.

nah mike would never get to Yandere's dev level of being a beta.

despite the guy who ironically backed his game back in the day on the indiegogo campaign, but he just getting to see a lot of blacklash regarding this situation with sonicfox on twitter push him to the limit of actually having to share his piece of mind over this situation lol.

I don't think how Mike is handling it is 'wrong' in any way. It's a game from a decade ago that is basically on life support, so whoever is still playing it is probably happy to receive updates at all.

Sonicfox attracts a lot of a-logs, that much is clear. If you are modding out a character that only appears in a tutorial level then you might just be as insufferable as the guy you hate tbh.

dekillsage has also won hella tournaments, given many hundreds of hours of help to the community, and been a huge supporter of the game since the very first release. He deserves at least as much recognition as SonicFox...however, what we do is up to the individual. Sage was consulted about the level of inclusion he wanted, and what ended up in the game is his preference - which is all that matters.

Have no idea who he is but whatever his inclusion is must be so minor that more people are not accepting of SonicFox's inclusion that just completely replaces a sole character who appears in one stage. dekillsage's must be rather conservative and minor if more people are riled up about SonicFox's inclusion.

If this is 100% true, sonicfox has no room to speak if he beats everyone else in that game. But knowing Dominique, he'll still say he "mixed your shit" in the game.
 
so basically in other words mikez made sonic fox an NPC because they spent lots of money on the game, promoted it and is big in the community. guess with that logic ZeRo should be added to smash bros....

also am I the only one who thinks SF designed their fursona in a way to annoy people on purpose? by giving it bright colours and punch-able face.

Dekillsage is probably the best Skullgirls player throughout its competitive history and is one of the best Dragon Ball FighterZ players. Him and SonicFox were teammates on the now defunct Echo Fox and are friends/training partners.

Despite his close proximity to SonicFox he seems to share none of his awful characteristics, or is at least not dumb enough to sperg about it publicly like he is.

Apparently, the message on the whiteboard on the stage now is from Dekillsage, but it isn't really clear in-game that it is (at least from what I've gathered). So his inclusion is minor compared to SonicFox, but that's also what he personally asked for, allegedly.

Just here in the cold of the night to share this: Possibility of having the option to choose with an input to Select Victoria or SonicFox to show up

Hope not way offtopic: but mike have to be the most chill game dev to actually give refunds from his pocket and possibly to add this stage feature so both fans and haters get along together with the game.

What you know 2020 can sure be the year of triggering people for the tiniest and insignificant things like an NPC being added inside a fighting game.

the question is then, why? As people have said before, its probably to milk to people who don't play fighting games but don't want to play smash. However this reminds me of the whole twitch mod deer lady situation. He knew this was going to be a clusterfuck and yet still did it anyway despite the negatives outweighing the positives quite heavily

only good thing to come out of it though it SonicFox now being back in the lime light only to get his ass handed o him by everybody, which is pretty funny.

Apparently he made it when he was 12? Citation needed. His character really is tacky and basic, so a 12 y/o designing it would make sense.
