I bet the entire announcement is so that she and her kids don't get fucking lynched in the streets tbh. The copper himself is in jail, and while I bet she has some protection, it's downright necessary for her to try and take the heat off herself here.

At this point I'm just waiting for someone to lose patience and shoot a bunch of rioters.

Not sure if it'll be police, military, or just civilians defending themselves, but someone is gonna snap.

Then they'll say "This isn't about that guy the cops killed, this is about peaceful protesters being murdered!"


At this point unless they put these riots down decisively they're just gonna get worse.

I'm starting to think that the actual military rolling out via Insurrection Act is the only thing that's gonna put an end to this. All the attempts to resolve this peacefully have failed and the riots only seem to be gaining steam. At some point they're gonna have to engage the nuclear option.
