Who's gonna care if some rioters get detained by force? The people already rioting? The media that's already spinning it in the worst possible ways? The people on social media already shouting at the top of their lungs? The majority of Americans have no sympathy for people who violently destroy everything in sight. It could happen to them. There's no fresh ranks to draw support from. Any possible popular support for these riots are gone.
