So does Trump even have a fucking chance after this shitshow

Well, yes, considering this (illogically) should embolden some of his voter base. That, and Trump's involvement in all of this goes as far as limp-dick state governors asking for the National Guard, getting them, then not doing anything with them. The president just approves or denies the request for their mobilization, then it's on the state to coordinate them.

I say it's illogical because, frankly, it's more of a state-by-state issue in how this is handled, and the federal government doesn't have a lot to do with it at this point.

The populist idea that insurance companies' resources are infinite is extremely retarded, insurance companies merely distribute the resources their consumers give them accross time while taking a cut for themselves, economists generally regard an insurance as the opposite of gambling.
I couldn't care less about insurance companies, since they are scammy as fuck, but they're not bottomless wells filled with resources.

Yeah, it's a classic out of touch rich person take. Insurance companies pay out from premiums, so even if you eventually get mostly reimbursed, look forward to your rates doubling or tripling due to living in an area prone to race riots. Then throw in the loss of business and tourism from the area's reputation in the toilet...

Los Angeles is an utter chaotic shithole right now, but what else is new. This is worse than the 1992 riots. I feel bad for the fire fighters that are getting attacked while they're trying to put out the dangerous fires in the city.
Well technically we need to reach past the 63 death count to be as bad as '92.

I'm afraid of having to face probably the stupidest decade in human history with the rate things are going. The world right now is like some anti-Renaissance.

So if the cops open fire the median IQ rate jumps up by 10-20 points at least?

Detroit

"I can’t get close enough anymore to see what is going on. Tear gas is strong! Cleared the place. People have either left or are on the bus in cuffs. In front of Detroit Police Department on Third and Michigan."

"Police dispersed a crowd near Michigan and 3rd that was throwing objects, including a live firework. Gas or smoke was thrown by police."
