There was an interesting discursive piece a couple years back, speculating that this is the reason things from the past like vinyl, cassettes, and other "retro" cultural icons are coming back in vogue. People (typically millenials and zoomers) want to live in the idealised version of a time period they never experienced, because those times are depicted as being much more simpler or stable.

Yeah, those are almost entirely in smaller cities/towns and during the daylight. Then shit gets burned down at night and other officers have to deal with that shit.

If not for the expected autism, that wouldn’t be very far-off to the frustration with dealing with the riots and Antifa. They’re coordinated to hit cities that absolutely hate self-defense of any kind and only stay in the cities because they know the outer limits will destroy them. Plus the whole thing with white people being used as scapegoats, rented mules, etc.
