That's a bit fishy. I'd love to see follow-up and more info on this (she could have been aimed at, or she could have been hit by a flyer), but unfortunately the story is going to get buried and chances are we won't hear of her.

The big problem here is nobody has invented a reliable .50 rubber round for the Browning M2; a fucking crew-served put into action & going cyclic at those protests would shut that shit down right quick.

She's on the ground near the bottom left of the second pic btw. Don't know where the shot originated from, there's cops to the left of the building and near the entrance and on the balcony. But it was a pretty small scattering of people in the parking lot (there were more in the street) and they weren't doing much at that particular moment, just yelling and walking around.

I'd rather go with .50 stingers. Hose the crowd with some long-distance pepper until all you can see is a cloud of capsaicin. Even if they're wearing masks that can filter the stuff, it will eventually get through their clothes and hurt like nobody's business.

CLE update:

Curfew for downtown has been bumped up to starting at noon today and ending 8am tomorrow. Euclid Ave. and playhouse square smashed up. A Heinens grocery store was broken into and looted. East 4th (restaurants/entertainment) smashed up. Volunteers are trying to organize cleanup but idk how much they'll do with curfew.
