Hermione and the House Elves was very ahead of its time, as it turns out.

Of course the activists are going to be stupid in Harry Potter. The whole SPEW subplot happened in Book 4, back when humor was still a thing and shortly before everything started going completely off the rails. Hermione was like 15. Later on the protagonists move on to literally fight against an oppressive, racist government.Ironically they're completely right about JK Rowling sucking at writing activists, reminds me of that infamous 4chan post about how Harry Potter is the most law abiding, government supporting and inoffensive story possible. I doubt it'll happen but I'd love to see Rowling do a complete 180 and become openly conservative, because she is getting absolutely shat on by the SJWs now.
That's not white guilt, that's covering his ass so he doesn't have to admit he's a small-time loser who released 3 albums in 12 years and landed no hits.Talk about white guilt

Why are these people reading a children’s book written in the 90s looking for activists and progressives? I’d say read another book but knowing these people they’d just read Percy Jackson or some shit. You guys won't mind more Harry Potter will you?

In their eyes, Rowling is halfway to being conservative; anyone not completely in lockstep with their ideology and is left of Marx might as well be a hardcore right winger. These are the same people that think Rebecca Sugar isn’t woke enough.Ironically they're completely right about JK Rowling sucking at writing activists, reminds me of that infamous 4chan post about how Harry Potter is the most law abiding, government supporting and inoffensive story possible. >that face
In a way it reminds me of a race-obsess version of Harison Bergonson where a hard-working, probably talented man should give up because his skin is the wrong color.Yeah that looks like the kind of guy who would get rid of his own career for black people.
Because as we all know, hip hop is a genre black people have a hard time flourishing in.
Absolutely, I was raised around guns and I respect them very much. It's something I wish more people had the experience of. It's a kind of safety that is very underrated for anybody, and many crimes are prevented or stopped by a carrier. That's fair. Just please make sure you have plenty of training before you start carrying. A person who's not competent with a gun can do a lot of harm even with the best of intentions. That aside, good luck and enjoy yourself. If it interests you, shooting sports can be a blast.
Interesting.
Even if it was slowing down in America prior, with all the riots going on right now and many not caring about their own safety, there will be reports of a sharp increase in new cases.Except it is slowing down.
I've seen "Karen" being used before. It just didn't seem to be a "thing" until 2020. "Karen" is just the new "Becky".I just have to ask, when did the "Karen" meme become a thing, didn't they used to be just called "Soccer Moms"?
“Paid by George Soros” in bold letters was the big tip off for me.You do realize that is a joke, don’t you?
I actually remember people getting upset at others for daring to use Tyrone or Jamal to refer to all black men. Not that it’s stopped everyone clearly.Even if it was slowing down in America prior, with all the riots going on right now and many not caring about their own safety, there will be reports of a sharp increase in new cases.

I just think its hilarious that people are fine with using Karen/Becky as a derogatory term, but you can't use "stereotypical" names on minorities like Ledasha/Shaniqua, Chun Li, Maria, or Aisha. Because that's "problematic" and "wrong".
That's the funny part, they hate Rowling and think Harry Potter is super problematic... Yet, they still won't read another book. Why are these people reading a children’s book written in the 90s looking for activists and progressives? I’d say read another book but knowing these people they’d just read Percy Jackson or some shit.
He deserves it.
Talk about entitled.

Not sure how cops in riot gear is the equivalent to RoboCop.
I’ve always wondered if their reference pools were really limited or they think other books are too challenging. Come to think of it, they’ve had to assigned reading in high school, right? That's the funny part, they hate Rowling and think Harry Potter is super problematic... Yet, they still won't read another book.
