I don't know the British laws, but German laws do not fuck around with someone interfering with aviation. Technically, you can be fined something like 50k Euros or even send to jail for 10 years in especially bad cases. Any flight that had a delay or had to land somewhere else would offer the opportunity for everybody on board and the company to sue the protesters for compensation.

As much as I like to hear them fading into obscurity and ridicule, I would have loved seeing them end up in a debtor's prison.

Yeah it was real dumb for the Baltimore PD to have a body camera when Black Lies Matter was chimping out claiming Curtis Deal was unarmed and shot in the back.

You don't have to release the footage, you pull the SD card, put the camera in a drawer and call the police. Save it for when you need to dispute the their theory of the crime.

Honestly, this is what I hate most about these sorts of events and the politicizing of everything. It's almost impossible to escape because everyone feels the need to virtue signal in completely irrelevant places to boost their egos and pat each other on the back. I mean it's one thing coming to a thread specifically to talk about this topic, but I don't want or need to see it everywhere else on the internet or every time I switch on the TV or go out in public. If anything has drained my already-non-existant sympathy for social causes down to nothing, it's shit like this.

There is only one story you ever want the jury to hear if have to shoot someone in self defense, your own. Eye witnesses are generally terrible and people will interpret situations differently. You also lawyer the fuck up and don't give a statement to police unless your lawyer advises you too. You can tell everything to the jury at trial that you feel like you need to tell the cops.
