Holy fuck. Following this thread from the other side of the world, from a safe and cozy place, is surreal. The most dangerous my block gets is when people drink beer and curse at the entrance. We don't appreciate our safety enough. Hope those of you stuck in shithole cities can stay out of this mess.

If anything, I hope this is going to end with some Antifa skulls bashed in and more corporate sites vandalized because they're literally asking for it.

It's so strange to be watching everything online, on the news, on streams and seeing what looks like complete anarchy in the cities... Honestly worrying for the future of America and its youth...

Yet I look outside, its a beautiful day, children are playing on the street I live on, families are going for walks, everything is calm.
This whole thing is blowing my mind, first the coronavirus and now this?
If Jesus Christ himself stepped out of the clouds this evening, I don't think that I'd even be surprised at this point.

nah that's just an observation, and a pretty accurate one tbh

ironically, after all this rioting and with threats like this being out in public, it is absolutely impossible to have a fair trial anymore. my guess is they will just run a show trial, hand-pick a jury full of BLM activists, convict him for first degree murder and sentence him to life without parole.

Antifa are actually terrorists, though. They use violence and intimidation for political goals. The only reason they haven't been declared as such before is 1) this is the first time they've caused widespread visible damage and 2) because of how much the dem establishment loves them. I'm 100% okay with terrorist organizations being declared terrorist organizations.

They could stop this all in less than an hour if they publicly announced one hour before curfew that anyone out after then will be shot with live ammo on sight. But they won't, either because they're complacent or too cowardly to take action. You're watching every establishment lose all legitimacy in front of your very eyes.
