RE: gordian knot, you're certainly not wrong. I think what we're seeing now was 100% inevitable, and it's almost entirely the last 50+ years of governing's fault. I don't expect this to be a popular sentiment here, but I think this is the only thing that even resembles a solution for disenfranchised black americans. The existence of nations is a form of segregation. The original experiment of segregation in the USA was a progressive proposal designed to give black people a chance to own their own businesses instead of having to hopelessly compete with white-owned businesses. They did develop a parallel society and it worked pretty well, with a black wall street and everything. But then there was a incident and a riot and then it got bombed from above with planes, so yeah... you're probably right.

They are probably too dense to get any meaning from it if they have. I've seen these types quote excerpts of 1984 on tumblr and stuff and then frame it to be all about themselves and how much they hate Drumph.

What I noticed the most about the meeting is that it reminded me of why I don't go to church anymore. Spent my childhood and teen years going to protestant churches where they would read ANYTHING and try to frame it in terms of them and their salvation. I eventually realized that they were missing the point and living in fear of their own guilt all the time or they wouldn't be acting that way.
Commie types were just doing the same thing, everything related to their oppressiveness levels, and there was a semi defined priestly class in the room that everyone had to shut up and listen to.

All this is to say that woke people are literally just religious nutjobs but most us know that already

The most interesting thing that happened, is that when they asked us to brainstorm about how to cause lasting change in our community. "Think big! Fantasize!" They said.
I watched the smiles vanish when a nerdy black guy who walked in because of the posters just like me tried to say something about how his dream is to start a private high school for black teens. They made some thinking faces about it, said some wishy washy praises "oh that's nice but..." and then said some intellectual bullshit no one understood on purpose in order to make themselves sound smart and change the conversation (I realized they do this frequently no matter what, must just be regular brainwashing reinforcement). One ring leader, they called "her" a "moderator" IIRC, kept shutting him down by fantasizing about how to make his school vision super queer, and the influence and impact that would have. Another said that we are talking about realistic things with an easily achievable time scale, despite the guy prefacing it with "I know it might take 30 years, haha..."

Just straight up call a guys dreams unrealistic because you can't make a social media post about it tomorow, smh. Not only that, but the hypocrisy of these mostly white and hispanic professors treating this young black man (and all the other black people in the room) like he is a literal child in need of their holy guidance just really slapped me in the face even though I was there as a curious slightly right leaning person. I had always seen posts theorizing about all the ways woke liberalism is keeping the black community down, but holy macaroni. That guy just wanted to make legitimate points that he could not make with Latisha, a white homo dude, and the professors talking over him. When he got to fit in another few words edgewise, he envisioned a hardass and professional secondary school where everyone had to have uniforms and natural hair. The natural hair part made all the Latishas in the room (including a professor) go "UMMM NONONO" and "AUHHHHHH" at the exact same time and it was deafening. Well, maybe not deafening, but my ears were ringing. Apparently he's sexist? He didn't get to explain himself.

The rest of the meeting proceeded with "we are le revolutionaries, we see what no one else does, only we love our communities, we are so special, we are the resistance, infiltrate hobbies, how can we help Xer, it was her turn, fuck Rump, something something Russia joke, muh leghair, it was her turn, IT WAS HER FUCKING TURN REE, will I be thrown in camp for being a homo now, agent of change, blah blah".
When it was over I tried to talk to school idea guy. Said a few things about the cupcakes we were both despondent about and then brought up Booker T. Washington and he glared and said "Yeah, I've read that too. Not very popular is he? I gotta go, bye" and subsequently stormed off. Poor guy had visibly experienced a blackpill beatdown. I hope he is doing ok wherever he is.

I wish I had thought record the meeting or maybe even acquired a secret spy cam or something to film it, This was about in 2017.

Also Booker T is based. I rarely meet people who have read Up From Slavery. It's far less likely that a liberal professor would quote that then 1984 because they can't make it about themselves. Booker T. Washington also rants about the slavery mindset that black people need to get rid of, where you don't think about long term consequences and buy expensive cool stuff you can't afford and want things to be easy in the moment and can't get ahead. Describes the riots pretty much.

Regg seems to be pretty streetwise, and comes across as something of a calming influence. No doubt some shit would have gone down had he left the Floyd memorial block.

I'm still a little concerned that the Antifags appear to have taken such interest in seeing what he looks like, though.
