Some people here discussed Trump using emergency powers to shut Twitter down because of all the people organizing riots and shit on there, and that would be a colossal mistake on Trump's part. All the keyboard warriors need to stay inside glued to their phones. If you close Twitter, their life is basically over and they'll have nothing left to lose but help themselves to free shit.

Interesting point. It would make rescuing them a high priority, which no one with a long memory would be willing to do, or even feel bad, man. But if this guy you're pointing to is like the rest of those upperclass idiots, they have incredible mental hurdles to go through before becoming an asset. It may be better to leave them for the gulag.

No, I expect the officers to behave responsibly, and take care not to escalate the situation. Running people down with cars and horses, pepper spraying peaceful protesters, and violently shoving people to the ground clearly isn't going to restore any semblance of order, and it's not intended to; it's just another case of the police acting like they are above the law, and all it serves to do is add more fuel to the fire.

It would basically force them to use a better, more encrypted option to organize. All it would do is stop the virtue signaling.
 
Haven't been on the farms in a hot minute and I come back to such lovely discourse. I don't hate cops because I know good ones who really do care about their communities but seeing shit like this only makes me see them in a negative light. I don't condone these riots(especially the looting) but at this point i'm surprised it hasn't happened sooner.
