Conspiracy time: Bernie Sanders 2020 campaign focused majorly on door to door campaigning and incorporated volunteers who were willing to do that kind of work into their campaign. As we can see from the Project Veritas videos on campaign volunteers talking about "cities burning" they were none too picky about who they ran with either. what if Bernie's entire campaign was to get enough of these groups together for legit reasons so they could strategize and plan together? what if a non-significant portion of Bernie's donations went not into purchasing the necessary bricks, water, milk, thugs and bails for this whole operation? What if maaaaaaan?
