I'm going to say it once for all the idiots in the thread and not again

If you attack someone who is at greater risk of dying thanks to drugs, and you apply pressure to their neck, and as a result they die, THAT IS STILL HOMICIDE. Its still Murder.

And setting fire and looting has to do with that how......?

Man am i glad i live in Europe, at least i will only be beheaded here. Rather than suffer this autism fest
Become a good muslim wife and you might survive, inshallah.

This nigger still thinks the riots are about the drug addicts murder.

And that is a reason to go burn down the house of the Guy who runs the city, not loot a Target.

Thats what I initially thought. But more evidence is pointing towards Chavuin getting lesser sentence.

3rd degree murder simply requires a depraved indifference to human life. Whether a person is healthy or sickly, kneeing on their neck for 7 minutes while they continue to make it plain they are in distress meets that criteria. If the knee contributed to his death in any way, even if other things did as well, he's still guilty of 3rd degree murder. Of course none of that excuses the great chimpout but people shouldn't retroactively turn the cop into some kind of martyr or innocent victim. He's human garbage. Pretending otherwise makes us no different than the vermin burning down cities.

American history is pozzed by bias, thus the older the better.
I can not echo this sentiment enough, get your history from books over a century old as a RULE. Modern works should only be used as a compliment.

Just use the rule of thumb, the more distant an event is from when it is being written about, the more distorted the perspectives tend to be.

It doesn't make what Chauvin did right since basic police training tells you not to put pressure on any vital areas when arresting someone, but I think you are right though. This is a fatal blow to the prosecution and at most they can go for the manslaughter charge.
Re-read the defense: the Minneapolis police force had authorized use of neck restraint as a tactic to subdue a non-compliant arrest. He was well within the regulations, and the regulations should be adjusted. I'm angry that its always some druggie causing all this shit. They love to paint a pretty picture but it's always, ALWAYS way beyond a reasonable doubt in my mind.

Fucks sake, the shakiest case we've been through was fucking Zimmerman and even then it's a case of dumbasses doing dumbass shit.
