I sure do miss the turn of the millennium era, which I would define as roughly from 1996 to 2006 or perhaps 1997 to 2007.
Not even 9/11 and the Iraq war was able to totally spoil it, people had better attitudes back then, people tried to be optimistic and hopeful, there wasn't unhinged lunacy on this level.
I've been thinking of that game as well.

I can also confirm. It's not systemic yet, but the numbers are getting tight, and the supply is getting stretched.
Last week my assessment was "stable but might not survive a big shock". I was thinking of Covid spikes or a 2nd wave lockdowns, which hasn't happened... yet. The riots aren't a proper shock right now, they're localized and the damage is to individual loads.
Burning downtown shops isn't the danger. Watch for the highway-blocking protests. If those start multiplying, you're going to see some real trouble.
