Also, reminder that Phil was 28 years old 10 years ago, when he's claiming that he had no idea that racism, sexism, and homophobia were hurtful.

What a weird example. Is he saying there is a difference in bigotry between saying "Joggers like fried chicken and watermelon" and "those joggers are a bunch of criminals"?

Unsure about that but just last month he said people saying the tips goal wasn't met because of his missed count were being autistic.

Phil has no place to act as though he no longer insults people for their differences.

I think you are giving him too much credit. He is saying he did it but he didn't know better and there was no ill intent, whereas everyone else who made those kind of jokes knew what they were doing was wrong and did it anyway. So he's just trying to downplay/excuse his own behavior while throwing everyone else under the bus (without mentioning people by name because they'd crucify him for it).

Something tells me if you asked obvious follow up questions ("so you made money from racist khantent", "do you plan to demonetize these videos", "who in the fuck are these other people you are talking about", "what will you do about this beyond virtue signalling") he'd either REEEEEE, block you or both.

There's a lot to unpack from those gin tweets.

Is he implying that his content (literally just playing video games) somehow created a systemic issue through the US? Is he gonna finally take the L for his dumb nazi Dead Space joke?

Also "money is addicting" like is he trying to subtly admit that says shit for $$$? I can't wait for today's pre-stream tbh.

I can't remember exactly but I am pretty sure that "black lives matter" was a bannable term in his chat a couple of years ago.

Some one feel free to correct me if I am pulling this out my ass.

From the featured links on the channel, it brings you to a Blogspot page that has a large amount of text and images about "Phil Burnell's fictional daughter named Pearl Burnell". Also linked on this Blogspot page is a Streets of Rage 3 reskin video starring Phil and Pearl Burnell. The amount of effort put into this video and the material from the Blogspot page is remarkable. It's certainly a high-effort parody that has apparently passed under the radar from DSP detractors. But -- it's also fucked up. Some investigative work about the video creator turns up someone called 'Popsicolo407' talking about Streets of Rage mods on the Streamcommunity forums, which leads to the same channel that produced the Pearl Burnell related channel called 'Barnett Tennis'. Is Popsicolo's username a play on words of popsicle, lollipop, and loli?

So I followed Popsicolo on Twitch and turned on notifications so I could ask him directly when he goes live what the meaning of his username was, and if he knows anything about Streets of Rage mods. But he hasn't been streaming lately, so I haven't had the opportunity yet. But while I was on Popsicolo's Twitch channel, one of the thumbnails from a previous livestream jumped out at me. A cartoon version of himself sitting on a king's chair, while surrounded by kids in a ruined city, as he strokes a girl's hair. Not sure what the explanation for the prestream artwork is, but certainly weird taste. Imagine DSP using a similar slide. Popsicolo has reasonable artistic talent certainly, it's not implausible he might have created the whole Pearl Burnell thing.

Now I'm not saying Popsicolo is a scat furry pedo, but several coincidences certainly activated my almonds. It was probably discussed on here before about Popsicolo accidentally posting the scat image link in Twitch chat. But I don't think many people are aware of Pearl Burnell. Popsicolo is a charismatic guy who puts out pretty good livestreams imo, but on the flip-side he's also a ruthless DSP cuck mod and now possibly all this. Side note: Popsicolo has posted 49,161+ messages in DSP's Twitch chat, and the very first message is simply "Morrowind" in all-caps: [2017-01-03 20:13:54 UTC] popsicolo: MORROWIND PogChamp. Goes to explain how Popsicolo became the Papaveraceae of the Morrowind playthrough. MrPapaveraceae incidentally is also a pedo furry, but I digress.

Just want to point out that while all of that is creepy and weird and fits nicely in line with DSP's fucked up fandom, the "subway shit" Spyro image is actually an obscure meme (because it's so disgusting) and I would imagine it's not fetishistic for Popsicolo. Doesn't seem in line with the weird pedo shit he's got going on.

His racial humor is also very unfunny,Im not a redditor that says "ugh you just posted cringe" when I see racial humor and I know you can use the argument of humor being subjective but I think we can all agree that him singing chiky chang woka chang on dinasty warriors is objectivly boring and exceptional.
