That's been happening almost everywhere. Even in red states like Utah and Tennessee they had to be smashing up city/state buildings before they get a polite warning (or two) that "we're gonna start shooting tear gas", and then finally they actually do it. Haven't heard much from either state since the initial riots a few days ago.

This is starting to come off as exploitive; not only does any of this have anything to do with cartoons but many of the people in this discord are young and impressionable, so who knows if they know what they’re getting into.

This is so bizarre. Not only are they telling the server members to donate their money, but it also reads like an "Approved causes" list. Like, fuck you if you were doing something else, this is what the hivemind has decided. Now give money to the GF memorial fund.
