The strip of New Hampshire in between might as well be Massachusetts for all intents and purposes since it's just Boston's urban sprawl from people who don't want to pay MA taxes but like everything else about MA's "East Coast California" policies. The Massachusetts-Maine border?...
That's been happening almost everywhere. Even in red states like Utah and Tennessee they had to be smashing up city/state buildings before they get a polite warning (or two) that "we're gonna start shooting tear gas", and then finally they actually do it. Haven't heard much from either state since the initial riots a few days ago.Of course, the thing is, living in the community by itself isn't enough. You have to know how to respond and deal with a crowd. I don't know if any of you were following the looting in Providence, R.I. last night - I was - but the police there didn't put on the riot gear and start using tear gas until it became clear the gathering was an excuse to loot and steal and burn.
