So, I decided to pay downtown Albuquerque a visit to see what the damage from our Sunday riot was. Almost every window on Central Avenue (that's historic Route 66) was boarded up from 2nd to 8th Street. I wanted to check out the Kimo theater since someone tried to burn it down, but it was also boarded up. I'm guessing most of the damage was inside. Downtown Albuquerque is already a nasty place, but I've never seen it that empty before.

We didn't have anything on Monday on account of weather. Hopefully we don't have any other incidents for the week. I just find it interesting that the one demonstration on Saturday that wasn't associated with BLM was peaceful, but the ones BLM did help with on Friday and Sunday got violent and destructive. Really gets my almonds joggin'.
