That's the thing, though. She absolutely does. She just wrote an open letter to this thread, making sure to include every detail she could think of that would add credibility to her story. She says she has friends, professors, people that support and believe her... And yet it isn't enough. I think she knows deep down that what she's been through isn't particularly noteworthy, nor is it any excuse for why she's so far behind in life.

The comfort and reassurance of her friends doesn't help because she knows it's based on a lie. So she has to double-down on it. She comes to this thread knowing it will upset her, and reads it with the intention of making herself feel worse. Even if no one here validates her abuse, she will at least be able to say that cyberbullies stalk and harass her at every turn. She is never safe. She will always be a victim.
