Ahh thanks!! Its been over 10 years since I last picked up a BSC book but I still have fond childhood memories yknow. Also it was really progressive at the time to include a boy baby sitter because baby sitting has always been viewed as a traditionally female role to fill. Iirc there are over 200+ books in the series and they have multiple spinoffs plot points and so on talking about how the girls grow up they learn multiple life skills. I don’t see why we need to rewrite BSC. A reprint would really do them just fine ( they would probs do the modern update thing to them where they change the tapes and CD players to iPhones and Spotify. Shit like that)

I haven't ead them in four years! They are reprinting them again. They did so in 2010 and are doing so again this year because of the Netflix series. I prefer the covers to the 2010 ones, the new ones look like those Snapchat avatars in a way.
The graphic novels are an adaptation from the books, although they were a bit out of order for the first hhalf.r

In a previous class he was agreeing with a teacher about the issues of ‘rich white men’. I haven't got much anything to post to this thread yet, but maybe some people who see this more often can help me out here. What is it with this tendency to make characters have these strange, broke-down, dumpy ass faces? One thing that's always stuck out in particular, is that they all have the same style and only slightly deviate from person to person. Last thing really, is the fucking gigantic noses that end up pushing the single line drawn for the mouth to almost the bottom of the head. You know the nose I'm talking about, right? What race are they supposed to represent anyway??
