While floyds death was still a tragedy and abuse of power by the officers that did it. Details can change and facts are facts. If Floyd was resisting arrest and on drugs then some force had to be taken to restrain him. People high on drugs like crack, angel dust and Meth often can go into beserker rages and refuse to cooperate with law enforcement. Not just because they aren't thinking clearly but they don't want to be busted and test positive for drugs.


Conversely cops know and are trained to understand that suspects who resist and or fight them will use any tactic to avoid capture. I've heard of people shitting and pissing themselves, spitting, biting or even breaking their own skin to get blood, feces or urine on cops not just to deter them bit also to spread diseases like hep and Aids to them.


Now I'm not saying any of these statements apply to Floyd or his death (yet) and even if they ever do turn out to be have factors in the fact remains no-one is without fault here. Law enforcements name got dragged through the mud (again) and the response by the so called "activists " have only hurt their causes in the short term decimated their reputations of many in the long term.
