My favorite excuse is "they can just set up a gofundme campaign and make more than enough money to rebuild!" when isn't exactly feasible when it's the whole town that got burnt down and not rioting is an option.

Well, where were the majority when Gaddafi was attacked? They joined rebels, which didn't come out from a thin air either. Nobody really sided and defended Gaddafi to the end, everyone switched sides as one got an opportunity to do so.

In the end he got sodomized by rebels. Such a shame he purged competent commanders in military lest they'd become a threat and instead tried to create an socialist utopia. He thought the people was genuinely loyal to him and to his regime. It should not have happened this way.

A heavily armed man wearing a National Guard uniform was arrested early Tuesday morning on assault weapon charges in Los Angeles, according to FOX 11. Reporter Bill Melugin said the arrest occurred near protests over the death of George Floyd in the city’s downtown area.

The suspect, 31-year-old Gregory Wong, was taken into custody at 1st Street and N Main Street around 1:30 a.m. Tuesday morning. The site is located across the street from the Los Angeles Police Department’s (LAPD) headquarters.

“Authorities [said] that the suspect was dressed in National Guard apparel and had multiple weapons on him at the time of the arrest,” FOX 11 notes. “Officials say Wong is from Nothern California but was living in the Los Angeles area.”

Wong was charged with the manufacturing and distribution of assault weapons and is being held on a $50,000 bond. LAPD said Wong could also face federal charges.

No further details regarding the arrest are currently known.

carribbean islands had some natives but they went extinct extremely fast after contact with europeans. partly because their tiny numbers and low development made it so they stood no chance at all in conflict, and partly because europeans brought novel diseases that these people had no immunity against, so they died like flies to measles and smallpox.
the indigenous caribbeans as cultures are all extinct now, but a ton of modern day caribbeans have some indigenous genetic heritage.
