Bleaching your hair weakens and breaks down any follicles exposed to it. Hair is already essentially dead when it’s growing, but applying bleach (or any other harsh chemical treatment, really) strips strand of protective oils. If someone were to say, mix the wrong level of developer with the wrong bleach powder, or say, heat treat it while keeping their ends wrapped in aluminum foil, it’s pretty easy to burn your hair off.Does bleaching your hair make you go bald quicker?
I was always under the impression it doesn't make a difference unless it sinks to the roots, which is virtually impossible, or it can make it all snap off but it could regrow?
Either way, the state of Kevin's hair means he should lay off.
It doesn’t look like Kevin knows what toner is, which isn’t really good either. Toner and regular conditioning are about the only ways to even semi-maintain volume after a bleach. It doesn’t seem like he does either. So while he won’t go bald quicker, the spots that are already thinning are just gonna keep getting thinner, sadder, and more brittle.
