While they are all cheering on twitter, gun sales in America are through the fucking roof, with almost a million first time gun buys in May. I expect June to be even more wild. Its very clear where the country is, and its not with Ali Velshi assuring us everything is fine while he stands in front of a burning liquor store.

Of course. Everyone has been covering it, and since we're involved we feel it. There is a boiling point. If it was been on the 4 day of the riot it would've been barbaric. But the longer it continues the more it flips.

I've noticed this for awhile with trump. he has like two people inside him. Trump and Dark Donald. (like YuGiOh!) regular Trump is the guy that ran the billion dollar companies and can act like a regular politican well, he is what you expect from an old white man, a Jeb type. but then when its time to Debate or when he's stressed Dark Donald comes out but instead of an Egyptian pharoh its a black teenager. and Dark Donald talks shit and claps back and is quick with a joke he says crazy shit and is talking shit on twitter at 3AM.

You could notice it in his speaking style sometimes, especially during quarantine. with no one there to feed his ego like when he's on tour he starts talking to himself. if you look at old speeches on the epidemic you can see it looks like a conversation between two people. "The pandemic is bad everywhere"

"China is a mess"
"i'd say compared to china you know....."
"China is shit, the US dind nuffin, perfect response"

"If i were to grade it i'd give myself an A+"

Thats probably why he's doing so terribly here, Dark Donald wants to go full gangster and kill everyone but Trump knows how bad that would look so he's trying to be a politician instead, and unlike the other times he can't trick people with some dumb third option.

I think another part of it is this REALLY hurts him - Donald ACTUALLY loves America AND Americans, and he's deeply hurt seeing them in pain.

It's his defining difference as a person and a politician; he actually loves the country, 1950s boomer-style.

Travis AFB, CA update
  • There's a "strict" curfew in effect, at least in this county. Keep your fat asses indoors between 20 and 05 the next morning if you live off-base or it's a misdemeanor.
  • Security forces were/are searching all outbound vehicles as if someone stole a fucking chemical weapon. I'm pretty sure they're checking for riot supplies like spray paint, weapons, masks and hoodies that no one has any business wearing in the 96F weather. Some alarm kept going off at the secondary gate every time a car was about to go through. Not a great ambient noise to relax to at the pond that's a stone's throw away.
  • Fairfield, where Travis technically is, is apparently undergoing similar chimpouts to Minneapolis. Don't ask, because I have no idea and barely any interest.
  • Half of Fairfield is/was without power yesterday due to a helicopter going down near a transformer or whatever. Base power is unaffected. The electric company (same one responsible for some of the worst fires in recent history) claims the power was shut off on purpose to prevent fires. The chopper was sorta theirs and apparently the pilot had no idea how to avoid power lines of all things. The first sergeants have their hands full with trying to help their affected airmen who live off-base.
  • Several days ago, multiple dependapotomi were marching around base with a pro-dindu banner. No chance of anything more drastic than that happening here for obvious reasons.
  • The base is apparently the safest place to be, because no shit.
  • Security forces are likely excited as shit to be getting some action right at home and without the dangers of random landmines, suicide vests or AKs. Happy hunting, lads.

I'm aware, but they're still in uniform and not allowed to publicly endorse any political position. At least one of the soldiers should have realized their CO was giving them an unlawful order and refused.
