the real answer is that nothing changed under obama because what they whine about simply isn't there.
like, the actual stats about arrest rates vs crime rates vs police brutality rates have been posted multiple times in here, and they all line up almost perfectly. there simply is no systemic racism in american police forces.

like, what are they supposed to fucking do when the black neighborhood gets five times as many shootings and homicides as the white neighborhood?

The point isn't to start a revolution. Well, maybe the idiot millennials on leddit think that. The point is to give both the government and corporations a pretext to consolidate their power further. I'm expecting the First Amendment to be repealed in about 30 years or so.

This behavior has been commonplace for a while, but it's never been this widespread and mainstream.

There's always been this fringe element that thinks whites are evil, think all police are demons, and that looting is a legitimate protest tactic, but it's never blatantly been the popular, mainstream opinion until right now.
