Sad but true. GG only loses whenever they have no complaints, but when they complain they succeed. This is one of those rare instances that gg has lost, a minor defeat to a series of large victories gg has had.

Technically speaking that is the reason why gg is winning. The antis are demonstrating to the rest of the world that they are scumbags and more spiteful human beings than those they claim to harass them. Or if the FBI, people they have used to try to unleash on gg, decide to take action against antis who are scamming the system?
In truth all gg has to do is sit back and let these people destroy themselves, occasionally pointing out their lies and providing proof of their hypocrisy.

I know I brought this up like 2 GG threads ago, but Gamergate lost the PR war in the mainstream press before any shots were fired. The mainstream press has always hated video games. They're competing media, and have had a longstanding, vested interests in seeing gaming as a whole marginalized. With games out-selling movies and becoming a dominant entertainment methodology, they're certainly not going to abandon that mindset now.

For over 30 years, they've had no problems conflating people who play vidya as being nerds, idiots, and proto-school-shooters. We all saw the bullshit that went down every time there was some asshole screaming that video games were making us all want to suicide-bomb churches and have sex with cars and commit cannibalism. Fucking Columbine had a centerpiece narrative based on that, and the kids involved with that one were both rich and popular (not that the Media ever let that fact out of the bag). We saw this shit with Virginia Tech, with the Boston Marathon Bombing. Invariably, some cock-hydrant would blame video games.

They were going to side with the SJWs by default, irrespective of what we did. Trying to fight that is like trying to fight water for being wet.

At the expo they disrupted a panel about women in comics and were asked to leave.

I'ma wait and see on this one. If it turns out they acted like dicks, I will join you in mocking them.

However: If it later turns up that their being there provoked a chimp-out (which would not surprise me), I will proceed to mock the responsible party instead.
