All those things are true but what is really hurting right now is the fact that for the first time in many many years; she is single. Chantal wants instant gratification and every second that she spends not being in a relationship she sees as pure torture.

As delusional as she is, she can no longer pretend that she is desirable when Bibi kicked her out and rejected her offer of being friends with benefits, is not getting any sex and no one is asking her out. Believe it or not there is a pandemic that's still ongoing. As of yesterday, PM Doug Ford extended Ontario state of emergency for an extra 28 days, aka the end of June. As far as I know (and if someone knows, please confirm this info) doctors of all kind including therapists are seeing urgent cases only. Others patients may get a phone call if needed, but otherwise everything is postponed until further notice.

Correct, medical appointments are by phone or video unless something is really urgent or appears to be. The practice nurse will ask some screening questions & either send you to urgent care, emerg or rarely have you come in to the practice. It's apparently working well; sadly the biggest problem seems to be convincing people with genuine emergencies to get to emerg NOW. They either fear contracting CoVD or don't want to "waste the doctor's time".
