It hurts to see this happening to our country, but look at Syria to see how these things pointlessly and bloodily drag on and on and on when the initial rebellion is ad hoc and unprepared. Hell even the rioters didn't just wake up last week and decide to launch a coup. They've been laying the foundations of this for decades. Former Presidents, cabinet members, and military officials all coming out in support of the coup in a matter of hours is not a coincidence and not an accident.

turns out all that head in the sand "i just want to grill" bullshit is a bad way of doing things. again, its just too bad shit didn't pop off 50 years ago. the GOP only survived this long because people were tired of the FDR dictatorship and they convinced Eisenhower to side with them. if Eisenhower went Dem, this same shit would be happening 60 year ago. with as little resistance. the military was never conservative the fact that no one disobeyed orders during eisenhower telling them to invade the south and uphold desegregation despite himself and his top brass being aganist it should tell you something

Not only college, it starts earlier. Public schooling is where it takes root, college is just the harvest being reaped.

Got emotional watching the new Trump ad. Seeing my city burning and destroyed...the devastation is too much and it’s starting to really hit. I still haven’t gone back down Lake Street since because I knew this would be my reaction. What the fuck is wrong with people, destroying so much that people have worked and fought for? I’m still seeing useful idiots claiming the looting is “just property destruction” when we all know it’s not, and even if it was, just seeing the buildings burning crushed me because of the memories I have of that area. The worst part is that most people here in the city itself are cheering on the collapse of society. I swear what Elon said about a mind virus is true and it’s an epidemic here.

What EXACTLY are these protestors claiming was/is racist? The act of a white man killing a black man? Or was it cause he was a police officer, and thus the entire system is racist? But why? Is it cause they think black people are killed more often than other races? And if that's the case, why is racism the explanation?

It's like, anytime you see an over representation of something, that doesn't immediately mean some nefarious thing is the contributing factor. You see an over representation of men in jail, but that aint sexism. You see an over representation of black men in NBA, not racism. Etc etc.

It seems to me that jumping to the conclusion of "racism" for any sort of disparity in % of representation is like the most intellectually lazy thing you can do. You skip looking for reasons and just assume "yep the system is rigged and I am in no way responsible for my actions."

its not the US, it doesn't cost a lot to fly a plane banner or live stream. if Mr.Beast can piss away a million dollars for youtube views. some rich guy could do the same shit with china. people seem to forget how many Magic Christan-esque rich guys there are/were out there because of the last 25 years of stock market booms. combine that with bitcion millionaires and we have a lot of guys that fell assbackwards into cash; they don't have Soros levels of cash to overthrow shit; but they could pull elaborate pranks. and you would be surprised how little money most shit costs.
