I think the biggest mistake the Democrats are making is forgetting that they have other people voting for them besides blacks. BLM is really popular now, but how long before LGBTQ people get a little snippy that their special month is getting overwhelmed with black boxes instead of rainbows? How long before the Hispanics start to get bothered that exactly zero attention to being paid to them? Feminists were already getting upset about the Karen memes; what's going to happen when the Democrats are tossing money at blacks but nothing for them.

Last time I took a run up to the store, I made eye contact with a random black guy. I saw no malice or anger there, yet my stomach instinctively clenched with fear. That has never happened to me before, not once, not even after I got flash punched on the street about 15 years ago. So, yes, I think these riots and all the bullshit being spewed by BLM and their white enablers (who are more disgusting and loathsome by several orders of magnitude) are not having the desired effect. Unless, of course, they want a race war, which I'm starting to think they do.

Yeah, this backfired if they were hoping to unite their base instead of turning it against each other. They also had to choose to stoke these fires on the cusp of Pride Month and then champion blacks to the exclusion of everyone else. Anyone with half a grain of common sense knows a political movement works when you have a stable, dedicated coalition, which this is just fragmenting further.
