Leftist writers go into children's entertainment and make shows like Steven Universe or Adventure Time where all the episodes are about who's dating who. Leftist authors write stuff like "The TIE fighter wibbles and wobbles and zigzags herkily jerkily out of sight". It's one of the many actual pretty fucking great things about the US; anybody can run, anybody can vote for anybody even if it's writing somebody in. But, of course, people on the extremes of the political spectrum will tell you if you're not voting for their one candidate that you're part of what's wrong with the country, read: 'if you're responsibly exercising your right to vote by studying up and picking somebody you actually support instead of blindly picking who we say so you can save face at the ice cream social, then you're what's wrong with the country'.
