I don't know what to say 06/04/20 - "not at the beginning stage"

I hope this serves as a wake up call to her, that her lifestyle is unhealthy and that she needs to lose weight.
If she takes the threat on her life seriously enough, losing weight might actually save her life or at least make her easier to operate on. One can only hope though.

I have to read though all these threads, but uterine cancer is pretty treatable. A basic google search shows decent survival rates.

She's probably on the 19% death rate, though. What a waste. The list of complications she'll have with her weight.
Unless, unless this turns it all around, she cancer-shits herself thin lol. Sorry for your losses, Becky!

ETA: So, allegedly she's seen ALL these different doctors and was told she's "hulthy but beeg" and NONE of them, with ALL of the "bloodwork" she's been doing caught anythng? Wow!

Cancer is a financial disaster, also. Damn.

The cancer diet ain't no cakewalk.

The downside of chemo (and radiation to an extent) can be constant, roiling nausea. Makes eating not really all that much fun any more.

GFY, asshole haydur.

That should warm your black heart, at least a little.

I'd say it's a broad (get it?) enough category for it. Da-dum-dum-tish!

Often, cervical cancer is not detected in an early enough stage for effective surgery/treatment. Early detection has a much higher survival rate.
I think you are confusing cervical with ovarian. Cervical has an 81% 5 year survival rate and is typically found on a gym visit. It’s ovarian thats hard to find, plus it has amorphous symptoms like bloating. Who the hell doesn’t have bloating.
I know many, many people with female cancers and so far, nobody has died of cervical. Lots of ovarian. That said, none were 500 lbs...

If she had just bought health insurance she would have a chance at not losing everything, but she will 100% end up with a bankruptcy if she lives through it (and chances are that she will live through it, she doesn't have something like liver or pancreatic cancer).

I do question whether there’s any verification on bank account/reloadable debit cards balances - without that, they’ve no idea that she has (allegedly) banked thousands for her WLS “journey”.

If the DHS (or whatever state agency manages it in KY) lack any manner of checking what she’s got on her debit card, she looks like the prime candidate for the emergency Medicaid apps they rush through.

So she advocates getting a third or fourth opinion and won’t listen to any doctor she sees but gets a phone call, hears the word cancer and rushes immediately to YouTube? I don’t buy it. She’s scared and getting the attention she craves and will keep Thumb around longer but I highly doubt she was told she has cancer.

I wonder if they're going to even be able to check to see if it's metastatic. She's had a lot of bladder and kidney issues as well and it's all located in the same area. How can they scan her? Labs, sure, but uh.... They're going to need an internal visual at some point.

I hate that for her. Not sad for her, really. I mean, a little. But this was expected. You're going several months without periods, then blowing out newborn-baby-sized clots, constantly having bladder l/kidney infections and being generally sick.. I mean... Ionno. I hope a hysterectomy or something similar will be all that's needed, but like.... It's a fair possibility this could be really bad for her.

I'm kinda excited about the upcoming footage, not even bout to lie. I'mma strap in, but not too tight, cos you know, it could be a short ride.....

the way that it works is she doesn't pay bills. then it goes to front end collections (the hospital tries to collect from her directly). then it goes to back end collection (her debt gets sold to a debt collector). then the debt collectors sue her and get a judgment. After that, they can try to get money from accounts. If they can't get any traction there, they can demand that she shows pertinent financial documents in court, and has to explain herself about why she hasn't paid, failure to do so is contemptuous of court. The alternative is to declare bankruptcy, and you have to show your financial info there, too.

I don't know why but I just find this really sad. We all knew she was sending herself to an early grave, but for some reason this hits differently. It's like some fucked up monkey's paw shit.

'I want to lose a lot of weight quickly and easily'
'Wish granted. You lose the weight, but it's because of cancer.'

Till the next update, I'm going to assume it's pre-cancerous cells (suggested in chat by @SAVE TWINKIE!), or an abnormal result that requires a second scraping, which happens a lot. It's not that I'm trying to not believe she has cancer-cancer, it's just that she obviously wanted this saga so badly and boom, she got it. Which seems off. Or maybe it's because my cousin just got a positive breast cancer result, and they didn't give her the news on the phone, the called her in so she could get the news along with a discussion of what's next and her options. It's weird they'd call and be like "amber, you've got the big C, have a nice day" Giving someone bad news like that on the phone seems like medical negligence, because the person could freak out and harm themselves because they think that's it, it's over, no options. But maybe they made an appointment for her to go in tomorrow and in her frazzled state, she just didn't mention that.

The shantyfolk are way too stupid and intellectually incurious to figure out what options exist for amber to get medical assistance and a case worker to manage it. Amber is too dumb and dramatic to consider that there are options out there. Not short term health insurance, they won't pay for preexistings from the past 60 months.

Amber keeps saying she wants her mom and whatever, well she knows how to get in touch with her. The woman is sober, if she was like "mom, I need you" I think she'd be there without having to rehash shit (hopefully with aunt tammie in tow to keep an eye on her sobriety).
Lots of women have pre cancerous cells in the cervix HPV being the biggest reason why in the majority of cases you get them frozen lazerd off or surgically removed untill the advent of the HPV vaccine in the last couple decades it was a fact of life.

Are they going to be able to perform surgery? If so, she will most likely die during complications bc the risk is too high. It's also possible she will be hospitalized and starved but unlikely.

I mean probably but it will be very high risk. She already had an emergency surgical procedure and she claims she stopped breathing a lot during it and was diagnosed with sleep apnea, which we all knew she had ages ago. So yeah if anything it will just be way more risky

Yikes. As someone who also got cancer before age 30 (though out of being cursed rather than something preventable) I got flashbacks to my own reaction. Getting that diagnosis makes everything in life sooooooooooo much clearer. Her finally taking that responsibility, albeit way late, is better than blaming the world at the very least. It's funny, I'd assume uterine/cervical/ovarian/other lady part's cancers would be lower in lesbians but I guess not 🤷

Assuming she isn't lying, when people are told they have cancer, are going to die soon, and the like people react differently. If she views her "fans" as her main access to support she might went there first.

having cancerous cells is having cancer. I think your friend had pre-cancerous cells (dysplasia) that were concerning enough to act upon. Cells mutate over time to become cancer, but there is some space between abnormal and cancerous. The person who judges the difference is a cytologist, and it is all they do. All day long, looking at cells and grading the degree of abnormality.

an FYI for anyone who cares about her cancer- if it hasn't spread, total hysterectomy may be all that is needed to treat this. She is gonna need a lot of tests to figure out what is needed. Because of that, regardless of what treatment she needs, she is going to be totally financially ruined. If she had just bought health insurance she would have a chance at not losing everything, but she will 100% end up with a bankruptcy if she lives through it (and chances are that she will live through it, she doesn't have something like liver or pancreatic cancer).

damn, and all of those times she was snarky about being able to afford health insurance and torrid hauls. her singing doctor told her to get health insurance and tests done. she should be feeling something. maybe make a video saying sorry for being a bitch to the people that told her to get health insurance but since it's AL probably not. Not being mean here but you know it's not just being financially ruined but her ego is ruined as well.
