Antifa is absurdly stupid about e-money too. I told them for years to switch to cryptocurrency and to teach lessons on how to safely use it. Well, what ended up happening is that Paypal shut down their account and stole all the money. I told them they deserved it for being dumbasses and that I told them so. They still haven't adopted cryptocurrency. It's kind of pathetic really. If I were the mastermind of a terrorist org, teaching basic digital opsec and fluency to all my members would be the first priority.

Yeah a lot of right-wing communities also use telegram here. I mostly see Telegram usage among the technologically-literate crowd. I'm not surprised about the death of IRC though - while I love IRC (especially its relative simplicity from the client-side), it's a nightmarish protocol to actually implement server-side (since so much software deviates from the standards) and you don't get a lot of functionality for it. I hope Matrix grows big enough to take the place of IRC in the realm of chat applications uncucked by corporate nonsense.

Even as a normie, PayPal is a pain in the ass to use. They'll freeze your transactions for weeks at a time and lie to you about why they're holding your money. (Archive) Given the timing of the Trump and Barr calling Antifa out as a terrorist movement, and the first video from the Veritas undercover sting on RCA dropping this morning, I doubt this is a coincidence. Even the NPCs seem to have trouble accepting this narrative, since all the looters and rioters being Klansmen and other alt-right/neo-Nazis throws a wrench in their other narrative that they're all people pushed to the limit.
