There's a housing project and scummy area right where the ferry building is but as far as I know (and I haven't been there in years) it's OK, the NYPD has it covered. My children are 4.0 students in middle and high school (the one in elementary is also quite good in school but they don't use letter grades) They are in show choir, marching band, concert band, basketball, volleyball, and track. They work hard and are kind to everyone. I am not just saying that because I am their mother, I have plenty of people and teachers that would tell you the same. Please let me know what else there could be to the story. I can't name the times I've cried myself to sleep over not being able to fix things for them. This is just the tip of the iceberg. I pray that no one you know ever endures this and has someone question their credibility. I truly wish I was lying. It would make my entire life if I could say it wasn't true.

Me and my dad took a trip to the gun store today and picked up a few handguns. There were a ton of different people of all different races and colors there stocking up on ammo and purchasing guns. I was literally the only female in the store other than one girl who worked there, who had pink hair but was strapped and wearing a face mask with little AR-15s on it. She was cool. I think everyone's on edge and gearing up because the chaos keeps going and nobody's actually being a fucking responsible leader and shutting the riots down.

Dad's already got some shotguns and rifles that he already had or inherited when my grandpa passed away, so we're okay in terms of guns in case this crazy shit spreads to the countryside. Good God above, I pray it never comes to that. I fucking hate the direction this country's heading.
