Quite honestly this vile villain worship is making me creep ever closer to religion after being a lifelong atheist. I'd rather believe in Jesus/God and celebrate real martyrs than indulge in the lamentation of George Floyd or any of these other false anarcho-leftist BLM idols.

'What else does this craving, and this helplessness, proclaim but that there was once in man a true happiness, of which all that now remains is the empty print and trace? This he tries in vain to fill with everything around him, seeking in things that are not there the help he cannot find in those that are, though none can help, since this infinite abyss can be filled only with an infinite and immutable object; in other words by God himself.'
- Blaise Pascal.

This is what the fedoras have always failed to understand. As a species we need faith and religion. We haven't really become more secular as a society, we've just changed what is worshipped and who the saints and priests are. For all of the criticisms one may have of Christianity, at least it preaches redemption being possible.

This whole thing is like a fucking Twilight Zone episode, waking up one day and everyone in the entire fucking world has gone insane. I know drawing parallels to Orwell's 1984 is a bit overplayed but it's legitimately like some kind of brainwash programming going on. Especially with this whole 'silence means you are complicit' bullshit. You're not allowed to have an opposing opinion, hell, you're not even allowed to NOT have a fucking opinion. And if you do either, you are then guilty of wrongthink in the court of public opinion. You're reminded of it everywhere you go, everything you do, there's no real escape from it. There are a few bastions of sanity left, often in the most unlikely places, but how long will that last?

This 'you must assimilate' bullshit is really getting on my nerves. I'm generally pretty lukewarm on the whole 'cabal of ((elites)) running the world' shit but I'll be god damned if this doesn't set off all the alarm bells. Almost everything is fucking compromised at this point.
Its called Social Media and I legitimately think things like Twitter and Facebook cause mental illness.

Remember, you are hearing a vocal minority of leftists that have disproportional speaking power due to the left leaning media/social network addicts. I think it's the whole Hillary poll effect where it looked like absolutely everyone in the US was going to vote for Hillary but trump won because everyone reporting on the election was in a huge circlejerk. This is just a different version of that circlejerk coupled with actual violence from antifa and looters. The circlejerk has to keep going on so they will support anything that might extend it for another cycle.

just cuz you bleached your skin doesn't make you white nigga

That's where you're wrong, bucko.

the fact that these people consider a sitting US senator to be some kind of absurd extremist madman for opining that the president should make use of a power that the law explicitly puts in his hands really illustrates just how far gone they are

The Times is a paper for the East Coast rich. If that doesn’t describe you, the paper is not making editorial decisions with you in mind.

Times readers in the New York metropolitan area are upscale, affluent, Jewish, liberal and identify with New York’s culture, its museums and its art,” a former Times circulation editor said in a 2013 interview. The company’s media kit—the PR materials designed to convince brands to purchase ads in the paper or on their website—tells a similar story: “The NYT Weekday ranks #1 with Opinion Leaders, reaching 57% of this elite group.” It reports a median household income of $191,000 for readers of the paper and $96,000 for the website.
I am an urban professional, living in New York, making a good living, and The New York Times is barely even for me. Take a surgeon, making $400,000. That is, more or less, the intended reader of the Times, which consigns a mere family practitioner making $200,000 to the “middle class.” Indeed, the Times itself helpfully clarified its own upward-skewing vision of social class in a delightfully unselfaware Opinion section piece about “the middle class in America” made up almost entirely of subjects with six-figure household incomes. When readers criticized the paper’s apparent redefinition of “middle” and “class,” the Times braintrust explained the editorial process that led to the creation of that piece: They simply tasked reporters to ask Times readers who self-identified as middle class; not surprisingly, these open-ended inquiries yielded a handful of objectively wealthy people who simply don’t feel that rich.

The paper’s target audience explains everything from its bizarre fixation on elite private universities and the behavior of the students attending them to its unshakably windshield-obsessed perspective on transit issues, despite covering the only American city where a majority of households don’t own a car. It explains the entire real estate section, and “Vows,” and why a significant portion of the Gray Lady’s op-ed page is given over to people who only exist to troll a sort of imagined effete elitist caricature of Manhattan liberalism. It even explains the crossword puzzle.

Things seem to have calmed down a bit. 🤔

Anything spicy happening?
Yes boy, pack your Fudd issued 1911, AR-14 assault rifle and your gas mask, we members of the 1776th kiwi special forces brigade gonna rush the shores of Silicon Valley and hang every nigger, gas every kike, slice and dice every Asian dot head, slanted eyes or smells of goat anus, burn every white liberal male race traitor and rape female liberals for the glory of our Dear Leader in Minecraft.

Everything online. Obviously, I can only speak anecdotally, but this hasn't spilled into the real world for me to any significant degree (eta: aside from a curfew). This last weekend was my nieces birthday. Beautiful summer day. The kids played. Aunts, uncles, and grandparents enjoyed beers and conversation. There was some talk of the insanity going on, but much of it was about the inaction of authorities to stop it. The gathering was about thirty miles away from one of the pozzed cities. I think we get a concentrated dose while online. Especially in this thread (And I lament for kiwi's stuck in one of these progressive communist shitholes). I've basically resigned myself to the fact that if anyone in my family or friends do confront me and they ultimately find me racist because I won't fall into the linguistic punji pit that is Burn Loot Murder, I'll just straight up say, "Fine, I'm a racist. What now?" I have no social media presence. My job is secure. So what now?

These are more like the mind controlling "memes" from the John Barnes series that started with"Kaleidoscope Century". In the books "memes" were programs that infected and controlled people.
I'm pretty immune to this kind of thing (years of gaslighting by my trashy family)but I can tell people are desperately frustrated they can't force their shit down my throat. It's only making them try harder.

But George Floyd was black and an addict. This entire thing falls apart pretty quick when faced with reality.

Chauvin was a member of the Police Department AND worked security at the club. All he had to do was run Floyd's name to get his address and if anything came at him, he could just say he was doing a background check as a favor for the owner.

Then, with the address, just put on a ski mask/cover himself in shoe polish and gun him down in the street at home. Black on Black violence, nothing to see here, move along. It wouldn't even be too hard to throw the Police off in a homicide investigation. Just get a .357 revolver and fire .38 special ammo out of it. Cops will be looking for a .38 for a few days before broadening their search.

Chauvin then just takes his next days off and goes camping in North Dakota or Illinois and sinks the revolver in a lake. Then he goes back to work when scheduled and life goes on. Gun's never found, and George Floyd is just a statistic.

Yeah, that conspiracy theory about Chauvin being some kind of incredibly retarded hitman holds no water to me. Why would he decide to slowly induce a heart attack or whatever on Floyd while being watched by a recording crowd? Even just taking him into custody immediately and having him mysteriously die before getting him into the county lockup would've come off better. The most likely scenario here for me is still that Chauvin started power tripping hard and wanted to spite the crowd without truly understanding just how terrible it was going to look.

I have no clue if this has already been said, but to anyone denying that the reaction to COVID-19 is much more extreme than it previously would've been: look how much the overton window's shifted in regard to these riots from the one in Baltimore just five years ago.

They really need to get a clue or they'll spend the rest of their lives wondering why they're still tugging their teeny weenies on /pol/ while white women go running to make mulatto welfare checks with Tyrone.
What do you see as the solution then?
the right has the chance to take advantage of this and they're completely squandering it.
"The right" has zero control over what gets amplified in the media. How exactly should someone not on the left try to take advantage of it when they're up against trillions of dollars in media and financial institutions? Memes?

I know this is a legit take because you write your post like a journalist to the elite would, with all the hyper linked citations.

> Going to Silicon Valley
> Killing everyone but the Filipinos

So...your kill count will be, maybe, in the double digits. And then you'll have a bunch of clucking brown people that got cucked by Spain.
Silicon Valley sits below sea level. One good channel from the Pacific in and problem solved.

Yea, there really isn't any real defense for Chauvin... even if the dude died from whatever combination of drugs... the optics are just shit.

Whenever I hear the saying “educate yourself”, it’s always implied that the person saying it thinks that if you research their claim that you’ll come to the same conclusion. If anything, educating oneself can lead in the opposite direction of what the person wants you to think. This is why I think it’s dumb whenever people say it. If you think you’re right, than you tell them instead of taking the easy way out and refusing to talk altogether. Seriously, if POC care this much about their cause, it is their duty to preach that gospel instead of forcing people to read about it themselves. If they can’t back up their claims and resort to “educate yourself”, it means that their argument is weak.
Every time I heard "educate yourself" it was cucktalk for "read my ideology from personally approved sources which will never disprove me", and if you still read their sewage and disproved them, the puppets never reply again and the angry commiecels will just flip you off and call you a bootlicker.

I just don't get how normies buy their schtick of being the most humanitarian and caring political group.
They hate Centrists for giving some credit to the right.
They hate Liberals but see them as useful idiots.
They hate Righties because duh.
They hate Libertarians because they oppose big government and worship meritocracy, being a direct antithesis to their stance on the state being their nanny.

Yet they're the empathetic ones? Kiss my taint.
