Not so new.

They're now trying to get Trudeau to apologize and pay reparations for slavery, in a country that literally never had legal slavery and was the freaking destination of the Underground Railroad. 🤡🌍
Their argument is that the British Empire (which Canada was part of) abolished slavery in 1833 and therefore there must have been massive slavery in Canada.
In Canada, back then also known as British North America the Slavery Abolition Act of 1833 liberated less than 50 enslaved Africans in the whole of British North America, most of them in Montreal.
The Canadians enslaved those poor Blacks so much that a Black guy from Nova Scotia was the first black dude to ever be awarded a Victoria Cross.

Ok so I think I have missed a meeting by the docks or something. What the fuck is up with these K-pop pronouns on twitter spamming wrong think with k-pop gifs and pics? I just noticed it on crowders riot stream hashtag.

How am I supposed to find love and friends and a place to belong when everyone is infected with this bullshit? I'm angry, and it's because there's not even an escape. Kiwifarms is pretty much the last real escape online that I know of (other than imageboards). In real life, it's hellishly lonely. I can sit around and listen to people talk about this shit and they just mumble out half-formed opinions on things they're barely educated on, rolling with some consensus because they find wisdom in the dogmas of the herd.

Kiwis, how do you feel? I know most of us are losers in general, but beyond that---I'm a guy who can make friends and get laid, but the problem is finding people I'd want to make friends with or date.

I see the lynch mobs towards the UCLA professor or the riots in general and the massive support they are getting. I'm seeing CNN cheer on Antifa, an organization with LITERAL COMMUNIST AND ANARCHIST FLAGS IN THE SYMBOL.

My worry with all this is where it takes culture and where our human relationships will go. Imagine being who you are today and then being teleported to Medieval times. That makes for fun stories but it gets really lonely when everyone has moronic values and superstitions.

I'm wondering if any of you generally optimistic Kiwis have been "redpilled" yet on where our culture is heading. I've been seeing this coming for years... I'm actually kind of surprised as my pessimism isn't always warranted, but it was for this...
I know how you feel about the whole "I'm surprised that my pessimism was actually warranted for once" part. I have been getting increasingly blackpilled over the past 3-4 years in particular, and even I was caught off guard by this. Things that I had long been predicting are finally happening, but they are happening faster and sooner than I had anticipated or prepared for.
As for what can be done about it, I don't think there are any really pleasant answers.
You can always try to "escape the West" become an expat like Null (and likely myself, in the imminent future), but that is realistically not a solution that will work for everyone. For those who choose not to run away, there's not much that can be done other than simply working on self-improvement/self-strengthening, self-sufficiency, and Stoicism. No civilization lasts forever, and we can't have too many good people getting blackpilled, giving up, becoming weak, or dying or else there will be no one to rebuild on new societal foundations when the time comes. It may not happen in our lifetimes, but at the very least our children or grandchildren will likely get to experience it. And in that case, it's imperative that men and women of quality be willing to have children and prepare for the future even during extremely uncertain and difficult times. Otherwise, there will be no children or grandchildren willing and able to create anything worthwhile when they have the opportunity.
I don't like to harp too much on the natalism stuff, but I don't really see too many other ways forward, especially when we are talking about big-picture, meta-political cycles that usually take multiple lifetimes to play out.

Right-wing extremists arrested for planning riots at protests in Las Vegas
A trio of right-wing extremists with military backgrounds have been busted for plotting riots at George Floyd protests in Las Vegas — part of a plan to overthrow the government, according to federal prosecutors.

Army reservist Andrew T. Lynam Jr., 23, former Navy man Stephen T. Parshall, 35, and former Air Force man William L. Loomis, 40, were being held on $1 million bond each on terrorism-related charges.

The trio were part of the “boogaloo” movement, “a term used by extremists to signify coming civil war and/or fall of civilization,” prosecutors said in a release.

They initially planned to hijack coronavirus lockdown rallies, with an armed Lynam telling an informant they “wanted to violently overthrow the United States government,” a criminal complaint says.

The group then focused on mass protests over Floyd’s death during his arrest in Minneapolis, saying they wanted to “incite chaos and possibly a riot,” the complaint says.

Loomis even bragged about plans to firebomb a power substation “to hopefully create civil unrest and rioting throughout Las Vegas,” the documents say.

They were arrested Saturday as they headed to a Black Lives Matter rally — armed with gas cans, fireworks and Molotov cocktails, the feds said.

“This type of planning and intent on causing mayhem is terroristic and will not be tolerated,” said Steve Wolfson, the district attorney for Las Vegas.

US Attorney Nicholas Trutanich said the arrests were proof that “violent instigators have hijacked peaceful protests … exploiting the real and legitimate outrage over Mr. Floyd’s death for their own radical agendas.”

If convicted on federal charges, the men face up to 30 years in prison. They will also be prosecuted on state charges of felony conspiracy, terrorism and explosives possession, officials said.

The “boogaloo” movement has adopted Hawaiian shirts as a uniform and often express support for overthrowing the US government.

Its name is believed to have started as a reference to the 1984 movie “Breakin’ 2: Electric Boogaloo,” starting as a meme about unwanted movie sequels — then somehow becoming extremists’ shorthand for a second civil war.
Imagine thinking bombing a power substation would cause "the boogaloo". Total nutcases, I wonder if they were wearing those famous Hawaiian shirts all boogaloo people apparently love according to the media.

Last time I took a run up to the store, I made eye contact with a random black guy. I saw no malice or anger there, yet my stomach instinctively clenched with fear. That has never happened to me before, not once, not even after I got flash punched on the street about 15 years ago. So, yes, I think these riots and all the bullshit being spewed by BLM and their white enablers (who are more disgusting and loathsome by several orders of magnitude) are not having the desired effect. Unless, of course, they want a race war, which I'm starting to think they do.

They do. It's all the politics of consolidated power.

BLM is supported by the Democrats, who are supported by George Soros, the Rothschilds, and the Rockefellers. These final three, particularly Soros and the Rothschilds, have LONG sought to establish a One World government rules by a chosen select elite. People are most willing to give away their freedom and self determination following conflict. Two nations once thwarted these efforts, the Russian Empire and the USA. The collapse of the Russian Empire and formation of the USSR removed Russia from the equation and left the USA as the sole barrier to this goal.

These riots and the coming domestic conflict are another attempt to destroy the USA.

I still I not going to accept the yok of shame if they try to drag it out. I might bite my tongue to keep the peace, but I am not going to be shamed for my race. Most of these guys are white too, white and rich. It's like they don't realize they'll get the rope after the war.

They probably do realize on some level - that's why they're kowtowing now and all the overt signalling is about. But you're right anyway - don't accept that yoke. Losing your self-respect is something that will affect every other decision and for the rest of your life, from whether to ask a girl out to whether you succeed at a new job. Making new friends is hard. Recovering your self-respect is harder. Those who are your real friends wont ditch you over saying George Floyd wasn't a hero, either.

The solution, obviously, is even more ancient chaos gods.

Let us call upon Sutekh, Apep, and Tiamat to really get this party started, because at this point why the fuck not?

To be completely honest, I've felt like on the verge of tears the past few days.

People in my circle who've barely said anything political before this are just constantly posting these epithets- "Silence is violence" et al, and I've seen people getting called out for posting food pictures to their instagrams instead of those silly black boxes.

I don't really have anyone I can bring this stuff up to IRL, not in any honest way, at least.

It feels like we're in the middle of a paradigm shift. and not one for the better.
Pretty similar experiences. I live in a liberal shithole so I can't say anything for fear of retribution. I'm lucky to have IRL friends who aren't mouthbreathing retards I can be honest with that agree with me. And even if we disagree we can be civil and understand where the other person is coming from.

My nerd circles are a completely different story. ACAB posting, constant outrage, damning people who refuse to post BLM content on social media, unironically believe the riots are happening because of white supremacists, and cancelling others. It's pretty damn lonely. It would be one thing if it could be discussed in a civilized manner but if you stray from the narrative it's instant shitlisting.

We fucked up.
Clearly the lightning bolt is the sign of shit starting to get real, as Trump baits the revolutionaries into drawing their organizers out into the open so they may be struck down from above.

Or maybe seriously looking for signs in random natural events is retarded, and there's a reason why omen interpretation declined with the rise of organised religion.
