They want to institute "community police" or "community enforcement" or "People's Support office" or whatever the Hell newspeak term they put on it. It might even employ some of the same people who were police officers before. The chief differences will be that it wont be bound or managed in the same way current police forces are. It'll be "answerable to the community" or to "a citizen's assembly" or however else they want to dress up their personal control over it. It will be able to use intimidation in ways that the current police cannot to suppress those who are 'anti-community'. It'll be more able to turn a blind-eye to that which they want it to turn a blind-eye to.

Hell, they might even just lop off the current head of the existing police force, purge of the more recalcitrant officers and take it over under a new name and with a committee running it that includes BLM members, well-connected Left-Wing counsellors. Once you have the power to fire police officers and dictate their policy, you're well on your way to control of the city / state.

There will be police but:
  • They just wont be called police, they will have a name that tells you they represent the community in some way so that you can't criticize them as separate.
  • Democracy will be removed from their governorship. They will answer to some unelected "citizen's assembly" which will be gate-kept in the usual Left Wing ways.
  • US Law will become less the motivating basis of their actions than enforcing "community cohesiveness" or whathaveyou.

A perfect description of what is actually happening. They want you to believe they're fighting for a cause but really they're fighting because they have nothing to fight for. While they believe nothing has inherit meaning or value, they simultaneously defend the poor pathetic victims of the world. In spite of spitting on Christianity and gods, they protect Islam and practically worship social justice.

All they're doing is what nihilists do when they're not destroying themselves: destroying everything around them. It's the one thing they believe in that changes anything. Unfortunately, it doesn't do that and the reality of what they were hoping for is nothing at all like they think it'll be, if they're even thinking at all.

Like that cool ex-soviet spy guy said, these people are demoralized. They lack moral standards yet they act as though they are the morality of which should be put on a pedestal.

Not to imply you think this, but an important detail about the US government that's being overlooked is that it's not a monarchy.

Even in the unlikely event that antifags storm and take control of the capitol, it's not as if they'd gain control over anything other than the building. What military do they have? A bunch of masked, doughy faggots with bike locks? The actual government has a few branches more than that. Let's say they get the God Emperor. Well, the US has a pretty lengthy rule of succession that would put those branches in control (in a sense) if they kill enough of the highest officials. Any would-be despots would be nothing more than skid marks within the week if that.

Even if antifags manage to get anywhere close to taking over the government, it's not as if they're going in with any sort of infrastructure or support other than blue checks that would just as soon eat each other in the virtue Olympics.

I'll add that I didn't even take into consideration the massive amount of god-fearing, gun-owning folk who I would bet are chomping at the bit for the excuse. Not that I'd mind, mind you. If the street commies manage to set foot in the door of the big house you can bet it'd be met with some concerned citizens.

The post I was replying to was about Mineapolis counsellors wanting to defund / abolish city police. That was the context I was talking in.

I broadly agree with you, though if they manage to "postpone" the election in November, all bets are off.

I got a notification from Linkedin about this shit. It pisses me off that a supposedly professional networking site has jumped into the fuck-whitey kool-aid pool head-first.

Shouldn't all these people being working instead of protesting? Welp, more jobs for me I guess when they get fired for talking shit about cops on Linkedin while supposedly "working from home."

Police can't be trusted to police/investigate themselves, but the community should be trusted to police themselves.

It's like the don't actually care about police corruption and instead just want to be the ones to hold that power to corrupt.

The pledge is textbook state propaganda. That doesn’t make it bad or good per se, but it originated during Reconstruction as part of a deliberate effort to forge a national civic religion. It’s very political by definition.
