Trump Derangement Syndrome - Orange man bad. Read the OP! (ᴛʜɪs ᴛʜʀᴇᴀᴅ ɪs ʟɪᴋᴇ ᴋɪᴡɪ ғᴀʀᴍs ʀᴇᴠɪᴇᴡs ɴᴏᴡ) 🗿🗿🗿🗿

All of the neocons are in full freakout mode. If the color revolution doesn't work and Americans become even more right-wing and nationalist in a Trump second term, their meal ticket is gone.
Did they truly think that the military would drag Trump out of the White House and anoint Queen Hillary over this shit? How was this color revolution supposed to go?

In order for anything of that magnitude to happen, he’d need to be Nero levels of bad where even the royal guard doesn’t like him (which is very hard to achieve). It also helps that Trump has increased the military budget greatly, so having more money helps as well to keep people happy, Trump also has avoided many wars and has lessened ISIS’s power. With those things considered, even if some members of the military still don’t like him, he probably has enough on his side to not turn dangerous. Finally, anyone that thinks AntiFa is competent enough to overthrow the government is exceptional.

Well considering how far trust has fallen over the last few years, I'd wager it's because actual journalism isn't a priority anymore so much as it is an afterthought. People are easily catching on to the fact that you can't fill a 24 hour news cycle with worthwhile information so most if it is just sensationalist drivel. I mean really... why would I watch the 10pm news or anything on CNN/MSNBC/Fox News when I can just easily find that same information on the internet and it would take less time?

On top of that, once-respected institutions like CNN and The New York Times have been mired in their own controversies as of late. CNN threatened to dox a teenager who literally made a meme of them and the NYT have a rap sheet so long that Noam Chomsky himself literally references it in Manufacturing Consent.

Noam Chomsky himself is the worst propagandists I've ever seem.

I guess I know there all those donations that got sent to the NAACP went toward.

We could ask to the NAACP why it taked this long to get a black man as president of their organization? The first black man head of the NAACP was in....1975!

And Styx vlogged about BLM.

Razorfist there has made the point I keep making: organized movements never stand down by themselves. They may downsize while they're looking for a new cause, but they're always looking for the next big thing to latch on to and grow their power, membership and funding. Just look at LGBT: started just as LGB. Once the LGB issues were legally resolved, they're moving on to the Ts. That's not getting nearly as much traction as they would like to (because "live and let live" is one thing, "grown-ass dudes in women's bathrooms" is another), so you see some of them trying to incorporate the black plight -- a racial and not a sexuality/gender issue -- into the LGBT causes.

Even some LGBT (maybe less the Ts) are scratching their heads and thinking "wait a minute" at this overreach, too.

Okay but how many people will literally bet on it?
Most importantly, how many people will vote on it?

Riots during election years depress voter turnout. It would be painfully ironic if the media whipping people into a frenzy until they rioted in all those large cities actually resulted in Trump winning the popular vote the next time around.

Not helped by Biden’s dumb campaign being torpedoed by sexual misconduct allegations, his “you ain’t black comments”, and his legacy with Obama being aged rapidly.
But don’t take my word, take Jimmy Dore.

CNN person w/ direct knowledge:
andersoncooper has been planning a town hall for months w/ Gary Cohn, Jim Mattis, John Kelly & McMaster to air in September. They will make stuff up & say that Trump is unfit for office. Mattis & Kelly signed on. Cohn & HR on the fence.

This sounds like one of the dumbest things CNN could do. Getting together these old figures from Trump's White House that Trump and some of his supporters have tried painting as having been working against him (to explain why the WH was dysfunctional), to have them talk about why they were against what he wanted.

It'd be serving up to Trump an easy win by giving an excuse for why his first couple years in office had so many problems.

Honestly the issue is with the Obama-era general officers, who may be hoping that the average soldier is confused enough by the media deluge to go with any potential order.

I hope Trump has a list of which parts of the military are compromised and which parts are still reliable.

Trump apparently brought the 1st Calvary up from Texas on the 3rd as a demonstration; Mattis and co. denounced him on the 4th.
