"Muscle Delay" isn't like a disease, its basically just saying that she's running behind on fine motor skills.
"Global Delay" doesn't mean all her muscles suck, just that she is behind on multiple areas. It sounds like she has "fine motor delay" and "gross motor delay", from her own admission.
Dr.Google tells me all this and more! The weird part is that 7 is the age when you're supposed to tie your own shoes according to
this development chart, so that means she was perfectly on track there. At 6-7 fine motor delay just means she can't really write letters.
Gross motor delay means she can't jump rope or balance on a beam. While these can be symptoms of a series disability (every see a downy jump rope?) they arn't a disability in themselves. This doesn't mean anything for her future development either. It sounds like she was just slightly behind and was provided resources to catch up. Its like saying "I went to speech therapy when I was 4! How can you expect me to give a presentation when I'm that disabled?"
